I have purchased this product a couple of times recently from Home Depot. But, it has been a long time since I have purchased 5/4 or 4/4 lumber. So, I was surprised to find that 5/4 has now become 9/8 in thickness. Aside from that, the wood was basically straight. Some pieces had a little bow or twist, but that was not a problem since I was cutting them to shorter lengths and planing them flat. The wood is pricey at $2+ per foot for 5/4 x 4. So, be sure you need it. The $ adds up fast.
