A bulb planter, sod plugger, soil sampler probe and more. Watch the video to see how the ProPlugger 5-IN-1 works. Dig planting holes quickly, one after another, from a comfortable standing position. Soil gets stored in the tool as you work and empties by turning it upside down. Depth Rings allow you to dig planting holes from 2 in. D, 4 in. D and even 6 in. D. Hole diameter is 2 1/8 in.

AnswersI didn't hear anything from the recipient of this gift getting plugged or how he handled if it did.. He planted 100 bulbs in one afternoon, so must've done something to keep it cleared along the way. Good luck. Hope his daffodils do well in Houston. They shipped from Gibbs Garden in Ga. I'm eager to see them bloom....all 100! Ha!

AnswersBecause St. Augustine grass plugs are a bit larger! However, that is exactly what I planted! You will just have to overlay the hole to make it a bit larger plug!

Worked great with 3” plugs! Purchased to help fill in some large bare spots In the yard. I got the 3” zoysia plugs and quickly realized the plugs were larger than the tube diameter (whoops forgot to read the details lol).
Did a YouTube search and found the company has a video on how to plant the square plugs. It worked great! You basically just make 3 holes in the ground that overlap each other in a triangle shape. The plugging went super quick. The hole sometimes would have a small gap between the plug that I’d just sprinkle some loose dirt into. Highly recommend!

works as advertised, I used it to cut Zoysia turf...
works as advertised, I used it to cut Zoysia turf plugs for replanting which went. Based on this use, I believe that it will also work well for planting flower bulbs. The lower part of the tube is tapered smaller that the barrel which helps the tool retain the plugs.
