So it is called a 17 pack, but it really is like a 1.7 oz pack. There were at least 50 in the box. I used them to nail carpet to wood steps in the garage. They worked fine although being very small they got away sometimes.

These are okay for what I need them for: to nail down vinyl no-slip treads on my basement stairs (along with first gluing them down). However, by "17 pack" I thought that meant there are 17 in a pack. That is an odd number, but what do I know? The description even says "17 per package". I needed 100, so ordered 7 packs, assuming I would lose a few. Well, now that I have them I see there are 105 in a pack. There is one mutant that is not usable. I counted out the contents of only one pack, but will assume they are roughly the same. The package does say "1.75 oz", so maybe I was supposed to know that's what "17 pack" means, and it also means 105 pieces. Home Depot, please help people like me (DIYer) and don't put the quantity in code.

These are the coarsest, roughest, thickest in a bad way and not very sharp tacks I've EVER used! REALLY do not like them. The heads seems too thick and leave raised areas. The heads are ROUGH and want to tear fabric.
