do not last
I purchased these EcoSmart bulbs in 2020 and have already had to replace several. They do not last for their advertised lifetime. I will finish the box I have but I will not be purchasing this brand again.

    short life
A few years ago I began switching out old compact florescent bulbs with LEDs. Initially I used Philips 60-watt equivalent A19 LED bulbs that Home Depot used to carry. As Home Depot phased the Phillips bulbs out, at least the larger, more affordable boxes, last year I resorted to buying a box of eight Ecosmart 60-watt replacement soft white A19 LEDs (1002861716). What a mistake. Five of the eight bulbs have failed. These bulbs were installed in typical indoor locations such as a table lamp, an enclosed ceiling fixture, an open ceiling fixture, and an open, pendent, dining-room-like fixture. None were installed in an extreme location such as outdoors or in a ceiling fan fixture. I was tempted to wait until all eight failed to write this review but it seems important to warn others. The waste of materials for such short-lived bulbs isn’t “eco smart.” For a comparison, none of the couple dozen Phillips bulbs installed 2 to 4 years ago have failed. None.

not worth it. spend more on bulbs than electric savings
I started dating bulbs to see how long the last, some of them are going on years, others start failing in months. Ive definitely spent more on bulbs than ive saved on electric. Going with another brand. Feit is just as bad for reliability

Great product at a great price. LED bulbs have been too expensive for too long - if you are not needing to dim the bulb - this is the product you want. We use these and the 40w equivalents on job-sites, in our home, and just about anywhere we need a light bulbs..... Also - they don’t shatter..!!!!

I bought 2 eight packs of these bulbs in 2016. They give plenty of light, at least as much as an incandescent 60W bulb, and produce less heat and use less power - however as of Nov. 2019 four (4) of them have failed. That's a 25% failure rate in less than 4 years. All were used as indicated on the packages, indoors, no dimmers, in climate controlled environment - my house. I've had old fashioned incandescent bulbs last far longer. So the energy savings is not compensating for the added cost of replacing the LEDs. I will not buy this brand again. I also have some Phillips LEDs bought around the same time and so far none of them have failed. They cost more, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Best value for the buck. Save energy for years and pick lightning you like. Not dimmable but pick daylight for bright light needs and soft daylight for gentler light. Great value!!!

          Orangeish light.
It's orangeish in light. Probably should have went with a 3000 verses 2700. The shopping packaging was sketchy as heck. They packed the bulbs with heavy things that were ordered. I'm surprised that they didn't get smashed or damaged. They work. That's all that matters.
