I got this with 3 other Haunted Hill halloween figures. I'm really glad I got a group of them! This zombie is life sized. It's arms can be posed in any position. I have it holding its head up so it looks like it wants you to put it back on. It is animated and half turns. This is so easy to put together! Just place the poles on the stand and place the zombie on it. You can hang it without the stand if you want by using the loop. Very simple design, but detailed. The costume is complete, not just cloth hanging down in the front.
Very nice looking headless man for Halloween. It is made very well with good material that gives it a great look. Assembly is easy as you just put in the stands for the Zombie to hold it up and then install the batteries and it is good to go. The movement and sound is good and really gives a haunted scary sound. Do display inside as it is not made to display outside and possibly get wet. Good item to have some great Halloween fun.
HAUNTED HILL FARM:Haunted Hill Farm 60 in. Touch Activated Animatronic Zombie
Well he is pretty creepy looking he moves from side to side and his jaw moves like he is talking
He says a few different things but it’s hard for me to understand him because of the music it plays while he talks.
The stand that holds him up is a very basic pole with couplings.
I know there is a tremendous amount of technology that goes into this type of decoration but for the price i think it should be weatherproof aside from that I am very pleased with this item and I can’t wait for Halloween this year.
I definitely recommend this item
GREAT addition to my constantly evolving Halloween decorations! this is unique, not your typical witch or ghost. A butler Zombie greets with red glaring eyes and cryptic messages urging you to follow him to the graveyard. You can position his head on the platter he has in his hand or in other positions. Another idea would be to have the candy on the silver platter to lure timid trick or treaters closer for optimum scares!
Herald the Zombie butler is life size for full impact. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because his legs and arms are very thin , but I suppose they will look good hanging as breezes will blow him around.
We got this Halloween decoration because we love to decorate for the holidays especially Christmas and Halloween. We got this because it is different from everything else we have. It was easy to put together. It works well. One thing I don’t like is the head has plastic on the bottom of it which makes it look cheap. Also the tray he is holding I think it would look better with something in it. I think it should come with fake candy or something to put into it or have it glued right in it. Other than that I think it is great.
I just assembled my Haunted Hill Farm 60” Touch Activated Animatronic Zombie Butler. So cool. I know the kids, and adults, will get a kick out of it come Halloween! It was super simple to assemble, although the printed instructions are limited in detail. It also could use some stuffing to fill out the chest, pants and jacket. I'll do that before I put it out on my front porch. I use crumpled newspaper for that, works well and is inexpensive. When activated the body turns from in one direction then back and the jaw moves on the head, while a spooky voice and music play. It operates on 3 AA batteries, not included. It will be an excellent addition to the animations I already have for my display.
Herald the Butler Zombie Animatronic by Haunted Hill Farm
Halloween is our favorite holiday and up until now, we did not have a headless monster in our collection. It takes no time to assemble this zombie as he comes as a single, complete figure, folded up in the box. All you have to do is unfold him. If you want to hang him there is a black string loop where is head should be. We are planning on hanging him on our porch on Halloween night.
If you would prefer to stand him, the box includes a plastic stand that is super easy to assemble and a 3-piece metal pole with 2 plastic connectors to make a 60" tall pole. The zombie has a place in his back that will connect to the pole.
Also in his back is the battery pack where you will need to install 3 AA batteries (are not included). There is no volume control, and the zombie is very loud. Too loud for indoors if you are having a party; but perfect for outdoors as he will attract people to your house on Halloween. His eyes light up red and flash, so that will also attract people. The only annoyance is that his mouth opens and closes in a loud chopping manner which is louder than the zombie's voice.
The quality of the materials making up this figure is not on par with most of the other Halloween figures we have at our house, but those other figures cost twice as much as this one, so I think the quality of this figure is appropriate for the cost.
Haunted Hill Farm is the manufacturer of this zombie, which is named "Herald the Butler" and, as a butler, he has a tray in his right hand into which you can put candy. It is pretty wobbly, and I found it difficult to balance the candy in it without it spilling out.
The figure is advertised as touch activated; I assume that means if someone were to slightly move the zombie while taking a piece of candy, it will start up. However, we could not quite figure out how the activation worked. At times it seemed to be motion activated (although we could not find a visual sensor), at other times it seemed to be sound activated (if we clapped our hands, it would start up), and, if we touched the zombie, he would start up. Whatever it is that causes him to start up, it seems to be pretty sensitive and if we were standing near the zombie, he almost continuously moved and talked, etc. If there was a volume control, I think that would help make him fit into the inside environment better.
When active, his upper body turns left and right, the eyes on the head flash red, and the mouth opens and closes as he speaks. He seems to say three things, but we have had a difficult time understanding him due to the loudness and shrilling effect caused by the speaker being seemingly pushed to its limits.
Haunted Hill Farm offers 72 different animatronic Halloween figures, including 9 different zombies, 9 graveyard figures, 9 scary cornfield figures, 9 witches, 9 scary clowns, 9 corpse brides, 9 crawling figures, and 9 pop-up figures. They also offer 9 light up Halloween decorations and 9 blow up Halloween decorations. You can build an entire Halloween collection just from this company alone.
The Haunted Hill Farm touch activated animatronic Zombie will be a great addition to my front porch Halloween decorations. Mounted on the stand it is approximately 60 inches tall and 16 inches wide. When activated, the figure turns side to side, the eyes light up and the mouths moves while the figure warns you. One hand holds a serving tray and the other hand holds his decapitated head. The arms are bendable so they can be adjusted to different positions, but they are somewhat weak making adjustments a little difficult. If the figure is displayed outside in a covered area, you would need to secure it with the provided loop at the top to prevent the wind from moving or displacing it. It is touch activated, but loud sounds (vibrations) will start it up as well. It is a good decoration and will go well with my other animatronics. We always do a big Halloween display in our yard each year for the neighborhood. We try to add stuff and change it up each year. So when we saw the 60 inch (5ft) headless butler by Haunted Hill Farm we thought it would make a nice addition up on our covered porch area. When it arrived I opened the box and was surprised to see it was just kind of put in the box but not really packed to prevent damage. However luckily it was not damaged. Putting it together was somewhat simple I spent more time trying to figure out which hole in the pants to put the rod up to connect to the head. The overall quality of this is not what I was expecting and is rather cheaply made. His feet are a good distance up from the ground like he is standing on his tippy toes. Maybe this was done to make it seem taller I am not sure but when he turns his upper body it causes his legs to twist. This could have been prevented with a little creative manufacturing. We are just going to build a little platform that its feet will sit on to prevent this. Luckily we have time before decorating starts so we did not have to come up with a last minute fix. The speaker is not very loud and it is hard to understand what he is saying. The lower jaw on the head is misaligned as you can see in the pictures. Since the fabric is so thin on his pants we are also going to stuff them a bit with filling that will be sewn into a black fabric so it can’t be seen. You are only able to reach in and access the power switch on its left side. The pole is visible as it runs right up between the legs but we are going to try to hide it in the leg. The pole is black so not a big deal just one of my peeves. I mean overall its not horrible and for the price point it is ok but compared to the more expensive ones you can definitely tell a difference. However I am on a budget and with people in town having stuff disappear from their yards so this will work. Also it says touch activated but it is more motion activated unless I just haven’t touched the right spot. So if your looking for a new decoration that won’t break the bank this is the one for you.
