VERY LOW QUALITY
Shipped in a makeshift box and missing hardware. Defective paint and voids in the aluminum casting. Manufacturer has obvious quality control. You will be find a higher quality unit for third of this price. Not worth the money. Pint on one section of two piece chimney peeled after first use.

There’s only a friction connection between the smokestack and the main fire pit. You can easily remove the smokestack from the pit. The manufacturer should have used multiple fasteners to hold the smokestack together and to secure the smokestack to the fire pit.

Horrible Packaging and the Assembly Instruction are a joke
I never take time to write reviews about products but felt it was my duty to warn others about this product. It was promptly delivered but was horribly packaged in makeshift box and was jammed full of UPS next day air envelopes for padding. Some of the hardware (brackets and washers) were loose in the box and some had obviously fallen out during shipping. The instructions consist of a photo copy of one sheet that has a very blurry drawing and absolutely zero details that show which bolts and washers to use. Bolts were different colors which had no purpose. I hate to say this but the instructions looked like they were drawn by a 5 year old. I understand that this was a direct ship from the manufacturer but Home Depot needs to do some serious quality control here. It's now 1:44AM on Christmas morning and I just finished assembly after having to find nuts and bolts from another project. After seeing this chiminea in person and putting it together, I realized that I just got ripped off by paying almost $500.00. I would not pay $250 if I could have seen this in person or known how it would come packaged. Do not waste your money on this chimenea. You will be disappointed.
