How do you use it with the light and without the light? Is there an on/off switch for the light or does it work just because it is screwed into the socket and then you turn the light on with the light switch?
Asked by: janetaba
When you first turn it on the light bulb works as a regular lightbulb plus repels rodents then if you turn it off wait a second and turn it on again the bulb will turn a light red color but will not light up the room. In both modes it repels rodents.

I installed mine in a crawl space where I do not want the light on 24/7 so i set it in repel only mode and head out. Being elderly I forgot my headphones in the crawl space so I head back flip the switch on, grab the ear buds then switch off then the 3 sec on off for repel only ?
Asked by: HS
When you turn the light back on to go into the crawl space you use the same process that you did to put into repel mode. When you are heading back out you turn the light of then back on. If the white LED light turns on when you turn the switch back on turn the light off and on again within 3 seconds and you will see the red indicator light showing the sonic repeller is on.
