Galvanized #9 gauge 1.5" nails for fixing/positioning steel hurricane ties.

Rec.'d order in good order & time, but have not used the nails yet in my building project. The nails seem a bit 'thick' b/c I was not sure what "#9" gauge was. The hurricane ties these nails will be used in have punched holes just smaller than the nails, so I probably could have used a lessor gauge/diameter of nail shaft. Otherwise, this galvanized product seems fine and will likely work. GrandpaARwaterman

First time using them for roof truss joint hanger nails...

First time using them for roof truss joint hanger nails on pressure treated....went in nicely, you can angle them in the metal hanger holes any direction...these nails drill through wood fast and where you want them. They do not come out the other side of dimension lumber...1.5" pretty cool.
