I gave it a good rating, the only thing that would of made it better would of been if it were pre pasted, I had to go out and buy wall paper paste. From someone who has been wall papering for about 25 years, pre pasted it much easier to move into place, but it is up and looks amazing, I love it, its Beautiful.

Used this for an accent wall in nursery, it’s gorgeous! It was easy to put up and has stayed well. The pattern is easy to match up and due to it you can barely see the seams at all. Highly recommend!

This is NOT the old-time wallpaper!

Firstly, as you can tell from the photos, I hung the A-Street Alfresco BLACK Palm Leaf Wallpaper, NOT the GREEN. For those old enough to recall the 80s/90s, wallpaper was a "must-have." At that time virtually all the wallpaper we distributed was prepasted. That's the type I learned to hang with accuracy (after a rather steep learning curve). Up it went but only after dipping the WP in H2O and dripping residual H20 all over the floor. Okay, that was the norm, yes? At least for me it was. So with that in mind and seeing that WP is trending now, I decided to incorporate the new fangled WP in my newly renovated master bathroom. However, the new and improved paper requires glue and even though I thought, "how archaic" I decided to do it anyway anticipating a messy and sticky project. Knowing this will not be an inexpensive project (at $107 a roll...yikes!), I forged ahead. Here's what I learned and what I think of this wallpaper. 1) I measured 3Xs and cut once to assure an accurate match (that's just me). 2) LIBERALLY apply paste to paper AND wall. I used a roller on the paper and majority of the wall, combined with a sponge brush applicator where the perpendicular ceiling/wall meet. 3) Have a damp sponge close by to wipe off residual paste. 4) Have a tube of seam paste for the areas that will not adhere securely. A-Street WP 1) Thick, yet easily maneuverable. 2) No need to skim-coat textured walls prior to application (at least I didn't and the results do not show any texture). 3) Costly, but worth it if it's the pattern you want for your space. 4) SLIGHT learning curve, but SO MUCH BETTER than prepasted. I actually ordered seven different patterns/designs from Homedepot.com before settling on this specific brand/pattern. Of course I favored the most expensive, but why settle, right? Home Depot was great about returning the paper I ruled out. Finally with the decision made, I ordered more than what was needed to assure the same lot number should I make boo-boos. Any unused rolls I returned. Overall, I LOVE the results and the "custom" look this wallpaper provided in the master bathroom. So worth every penny and every hour spent. This is so much easier to hang than yesterday's pre-pasted paper! I highly recommend this product.
