You charge the battery in the unit itself. But you can order more batteries and charge them the same way. I don't think they have charging station for it.

It looks like there is a top fridge and a bottom freezer from the pictures. If so, can both run as freezer compartments or fridge comparments?

Is there any problem leaving the unit plugged into 120AC for long periods or permanently?

I think it would be good for the battery to be plugged in all the time. It might shorten the life of the battery. You might take the battery out and see if still works without it.

Quality
This fridge freezer is everything I was looking for with multiple power options with 52qt provides plenty off space inside and even more since there isnt any ice to keep it cool... there is a 1 year warranty on it which is nice and gives me an expectation of this working for a long time

Wireless freezer that works
I bought this cooler for long trips so frozen food would stay frozen. It works I set the unit to -5 and it maintained for 9.5 hrs. I imagine I will only get around 8 hours running at -20 but I shouldn’t be on the road more that 8 hours anyway. I would recommend the company find a way to make the product weather resistant for people who go camping out in the elements. Also it would be nice if the 52qt unit was shorter and wider so my lockable bed cover would close. Overall it’s a good product.

Quality made, very sturdy and highly portable wheeled cooler!
After researching for many many months, looking first at Yeti style premium coolers and then the ARB powered style fridge/ freezer units, I came across this 52 qt. Lion cooler by ACOPOWER. With the options to power by not only AC, solar and DC cigarette lighter power ports this cooler goes one step beyond and can be powered by it's rechargeable lithium ion battery pack. This removable battery pack feature is what helped to make this powered fridge /freezer my choice. We will be using this for tent camping and travel trailer glamping. Since I don't like to run my trailers refrigerator/freezer on propane while trailering due to safety concerns,  I thought that using this Lion fridge while en route to our destination would really work out perfectly. The Lion unit was packaged well and after pulling it out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is a very nice looking, sturdy, well made and thought out cooler. I especially like that it has a long handle and sturdy wheels with solid style tires, it just makes this cooler that much easier to move around. The body of the LION is solid, the wall thickness is not as thick as some of the Yeti style coolers, but it is sufficiently thick and well made; it feels like it will hold up to routine rough handling when camping. We don't overland so I can't say how this would do on extremely ruff and tumble terrain, but the unit is very solid and quality made. The removable lid is sturdy with a good seal and it  has a nice, easy to open handle latch.  Since this cooler is fairly new, I can't say how well it will hold up to use and abuse, but from all the reviews I've read it seems that purchasers were really happy with the unit. In the attached pictures I tried to capture how a 2 litre soda bottle will not fit under the compressor side of the unit, it is just a little short by maybe a 1/8" to 1/4" of an inch, but not to worry because there is plenty of room to the left side of the interior.  I think that it is going to be great not having to buy and constantly replace ice, one of the things im really looking forward to is not having to deal with food getting soggy from sitting in melted ice water, because no matter how well you think that bag is sealed water always seems to get inside of the Ziploc storage bags! So far, I highly recommend this cooler and will update in the future after we get to use it more. G.Tom

Cooler appears and feels well-built. Cooled down to 0 F. within 30 minutes from start up. Came with all the connections necessary for AC, Car outlet and Solar power. Noise level is on par with a room humidifier set at medium. Wheels much sturdier than my other wheeled freezer from Alpicool, and bigger for rolling on dirt when we go camping. Next steps are purchasing an extra backup battery and solar panels. Highly recommended purchase!

It was expensive but I'm impressed
I bought this portable fridge to use in my motorcycle-hauling cargo-trailer. I already have a 100 Watt solar system/charge controller/battery so I will use it in DC mode with the battery on as a backup normally. Something that may not be clear - it can be used with or without the battery while on AC or DC. If you turn on the battery while connected to AC/DC - it begins charging until full, and then will act as a backup battery (uninterruptible power supply) if power is lost. I have had mine on and set to 38 F and the ambient temp is 80-85 F. After the initial cool-down and another lengthy run after adding some warm iced tea to my cold beer and food, it seems to have settled down to the compressor running about 15-20 minutes every 3-4 hours or so in ECO mode to maintain the temp. I believe it must be well-insulated to maintain its temperature for so long. So far I am very impressed! I just hope it lasts!

This Product arrived promptly and required zero assembly. After reading the manual, I plugged it it to get it cooling and it went from 65 F to 20 F within 15 minutes on MAX cool, using the wall charger. I am excited to use this not only when on adventures, but everyday, as I live in a rural place where I lose power frequently, so the LiON Cooler will help mitigate the loss of food when this occurs. Also, excited to see if my portable solar panels charge this unit....just another off grid option, if needed. It was a bit expensive, but I did a lot of research and decided this was the best option for me, I look at it as a long term investment. I also purchased a back up battery with this unit, for the just in case moments. Really excited to see what this baby can do!

Cooled Great. Extremely Portable. Great with solar panel
Purchased LIONCooler for both camping, road trips, and emergency preparedness. It cools great. Love the battery power. Also purchased the solar panel to go completely off grid. Was a little apprehensive that it would work as well as advertised, but it did. It all worked great! The solar panel was as easy as plugging in a lamp. I love the solar panel and battery power feature.

Technology at its best! No more buying bags of ice that takes up space. This product allows 3 different ways of charging, the usual AC, charging ports in your automobile/RV/etc., and solar panels (not included, but tempted to purchase one). The product is bulky, but that was expected. For our use, beverages, food, grocery, the product is large enough for us. The lid is cute with the beverage areas and the display gives the basic information. This cooler is great for trips to the supermarket to camping!

This really is a chest fridge/freezer, although it looks like a cooler. It has a compressor and charges its built-in lithium ion battery through AC, DC, or solar, which is why we got this. We have to travel 80 miles one way on winding country roads just to get groceries and have to buy dry ice in order to get frozen foods home without thawing - even in winter. With one charge, this keeps everything cold without dry ice or any ice. It has an electronic control panel with an LCD screen. You will need to buy a separate solar panel if you want to use solar as we do. It takes 4 hours to charge no matter which method you use.
