        A:  The AA socks can be washed by hand or can be washed in a washing machine if you use a standard mesh wash bag. Do not wash the batteries.

          Defective caused severe burns
          I purchased these at Christmas for my son he used them for the first time this week after 20 min his leg was really hurting pulled his sock off to find these burns on his leg!!

            Socks do the job but keep it in mind the heating pad is located on the toe area only so sometimes it gets warm just the toes

            toasty toes at 7 degrees
            I skied yesterday and it was 7 degrees at 10:30 AM. I skied for 3 hours and forgot all about my feet. At age 68 my extremities don't tolerate the cold like they used to. Great product!

                eh, not what I was hoping
                I got tired of buying more AA batteries for these everytime I wore them, so I just use these as regular socks and bought the 3.7v instead.
