A set of dishwasher safe stainless steel baffle filters work to pull oil and unwanted grease from the smoke and away from your environment. 2 LED lights keep your stovetop lit for all times of the day. Built from durable stainless steel, this range is designed to be both strong and resilient. This range hood is covered by a 3-year parts warranty. A carbon filter kit is included for ductless recirculating installations.

AnswersI suggest building a "soffet" to lower the ceiling in the area of the vent. Some nice crown molding or other trim can make the soffit look very sophisticated

Looks great and does what it’s supposed to. Very easy to install. Can’t stand the “0” in front of the time on the clock display when it’s not military time. Also need an option to turn down the brightness of the display.
The screws for the top support bracket don’t tighten very well. Needed larger screws, easy fix though. All in all, it’s a very nice unit and I’d recommend it.

Sleek and Clean Design
The range hood was easy to install with only 4 screws/bolts that went into the wall. The sleek stainless steel look is very eye catching. The four speed fan is very powerful and fairly quiet even at highest speed. One of the bulbs was broken during shipment and Home Depot replaced it at no cost. As this was put into a remodel to help sell the house - it will add that touch of flair to the kitchen.

The overall attractiveness stands out the most; really added a wow factor to my kitchen. I installed it in the "vented to the outside" mode and it is very effective in removing unwanted smoke and smells.This unit replaced a 35 yr old under cabinet, non vented hood so, this unit easily exceeds the performance of that by comparison. This unit has 4 exhaust speeds. The highest speed is as loud as the 35 yr old unit it replaced but, the other 3 (lower) speeds are much more quiet. The under hood lights exceed my expectations. The telescoping, two piece, faux chimney is a bit unwieldy but all's well that ends well. The bottom / bigger piece of the two piece chimney has a top and bottom (that's not obvious) and the install won't work if you install upside down (experience talking). I am only two weeks after installation so, I cannot speak to long term durability.

The stainless steel hood vent is gorgeous. We just built a new house. My contractor installed it for us. Its not super hard to install just might need another person to help hold the vent in place. One of the vent covers was broke but the company replaced it for free promptly. I have 9 foot ceilings and it seemed a little short for 9 foot ceilings. We got our carpenter to do crown around the top so it worked out perfectly. I say that this would fit up to 8.5 foot ceilings easy. I don't recommend 9 foot ceilings. Overall great product so far.
