This Heavy Duty Industrial Drywall Sanders from Aleko is designed for grinding drywalls, ceilings, walls of the inner and outer surfaces, clearing floor residues, paint coatings, adhesives and loose plaster. Use it to help sand larger areas that would be too cumbersome, time consuming and difficult to sand using a traditional hand sander. A built-in vacuum provides an almost dust-free working environment. Easy to use, with a soft grip handle, LED light for dark places and control knob for speed adjustment. When working the corners, the detachable brush housing segment can be removed to allow better access. Backed by a 1-year warranty.

    A:  It is all in one machine. I strapped the collection bag around my body. It is not like commercial products that require an attached vacuum. It is simple and easy to use.

      A:  As long as it has not been painted you could use the machine. I would recommend scraping the ceiling with a drywall knife and then applying a coat of drywall compound - then use the sander.

                A:  interesting question- Not sure if it is “heavy duty” enough. Also, floor sanders are much heavier, which aids in floor sanding. Also—Can’t get sand paper coarser than 80 grit for this unit......

                  A:  I would not use it on a floor. You can rent a floor sander and get the correct tool for the job.
