ALEKO Barrel Sauna brings all the luxury and comfort of the Barrel Sauna at a more accessible price point. Canopy Barrel has space to seat three people inside and two people outside on the porch if you wish to stretch out, you can rest against the flat wall and stretch out enjoying fresh air and cool down. This sauna can be placed indoors and outdoors. Its entrance features a full glass door with self-closing hinges to retain the heat of the room. The glass door is tinted in order to contribute to the quiet, relaxing environment, and tempered so as to remain unfazed by the temperature changes. An electric heater completes the experience with heated rocks, and the accompanying bucket and ladle lets you pour water over the hot stones, boosting temperature and humidity for maximum health and relaxation benefits. An interior light glows for perfect ambiance, and each sauna also includes bucket, ladle, thermometer/hydrometer, and interior lamp holder and heater fence. The sauna rests on two weather resistant wooden support cradles to preserve the wood and provide a solid foundation for the structure. This beautiful sauna is perfect for your front porch and back deck. Assembly can be accomplished in just a few hours and is very easy to do. It comes with an electrical 4.5 kW ETL approved .heater and stainless steel components won't rust or harm the sauna.

      Q:It says max temp 160 does the heater shut off once it reaches that temp? I?m trying to get into 180s, or 190 degree would that be feasible with this heater and sauna

      A:  That is the wrong info. The max temp for the heater is closer to 195 degrees. It should have no problem reaching 180 to 190.

        Sauna came as drop shipment in a box. Sauna is good quality and was easy to assemble. Instructions were not the best but once you start the assembly things will start to make sense. Will note that in no world is this a five person sauna. Lucky to fit two adults inside when assembled. The inside dimensions are less than 4 feet when you take into account the heater and protective shielding installed. This was a little disappointing as the description provided in the Home Depot website was not very clear as it relates to the try interior dimensions of the sauna.

        A bit complex to assemble and YES TO ELECTRICIAN
        The beauty and quality of the sauna are top notch. The directions were not good. They were an astronomical amount of extra screws and we were short on screws that we needed. All in all, the quality is nice. It heats up fast, it says a half an hour but definitely less than that. I like that there is a setting that you can preheat it on a timer. And when it says electrician recommended, they mean mandatory. It cost us an extra $1000 to have this thing hooked up to power.

          Definitely not fitting 5 people more like 2 and I thought it came with the roof cover (shingles) but nothing in the box…. Bottom of the sauna stays cold
