First off, it's not brass. It's painted a brownish/yellow color. That being said, it still looks attractive. It's very large and gives off an adequate amount of light. The height is fully adjustable, so it can hang from a variety of ceilings, including cathedral ceilings. It has a great, modern look.
Installation isn't too difficult, though it would be helpful to have a friend as it is a little bulky. When installing, get the height close to where you want it (a friend can be helpful here). Once installed, you can easily lengthen and shorten the cables to ensure it's level or set to whatever angle you want.

Overall look of the light is very stylish. The led light is not very bright so for a mood light with surrounding lights it would be great. As a standalone chandelier it would be very dark. Also it's a non dimmable led.

Very easy to install if you have a ladder or can build some type of scaffolding. Basically you're installing the box to the light box in the ceiling then just screwing it together. It's very light weight but it has a nice design so once it's hung up no one will notice that it's light weight. These round/halo type lights are "in" right now and at this price it doesn't break the bank yet still modernizes the house. It was packaged nicely, but be very careful taking it out of the box and installing it. If you bump the light(it's kinda big at 25 inches in diameter) it can dent the gold round metal!
