Q:Can this be planted outside and if so, I'm assuming it will grow in a a dry, HOT climate? I'm looking to for drought friendly plant life. I'm looking for something much bigger than this. How tall/ wide do these plants normally get?

A:  Aloe vera plants that are grown indoors typically grow to between 12 to 24-inches (30 to 61-cm). In the right conditions, plants can reach 3-feet (91-cm).Aloe plants are native to Africa and grow in many climates. There are over 400 species of aloe, with Aloe vera one of the best known. Aloe vera is not frost tolerant and cannot withstand chilling temperatures, but there are alpine varieties that have cold tolerance to nearly freezing. Aloe grows in USDA zones 8 to 11 outdoors.     A:  Aloe vera plants are capable of growing to six feet tall, but the average height usually ranges from one to three feet. If regularly pruned or grown indoors, they will stay on the smaller side. Hope this helps! -The Altman Plants Team

      A:  Yes these ones are very large and thick right now I’m about a year into growing and each stalk is 18 inches long and 1 inch thick
