Sedum 'Burrito', also known as burro's tail or donkey's tail, is a trailing succulent whose ""dreadlock""-style stems of dense pale blue-green jelly bean leaves make it a favorite on social media, even more so when in bloom. Excellent for hanging basket culture. This 1 contrasts with string of pearls or string of bananas by starting with more of a lateral growth habit, but it will still happily spill out of pots. An excellent ingredient in dish gardens as a counterpart to succulents of other forms, such as echeverias, graptopetalums, and hybrids thereof. Sedum 'Burrito' likes plenty of sunlight but protect it from hot afternoon sun. Grows in trailing fashion to 2 ft. to 3 ft. or more. Plant in well-draining soil. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Provide bright light. Flowers in spring. Hardy to Zone 10/32°F.Donkey Tails are native to Mexico and grow in long, hanging bunches of small, bean-shaped ""leaves"". Succulents are easy to care for, require less water than traditional house plants and add interest to any environment. Great indoor or patio hanging basket for brightly lit areas.
