A: I would reccomend putting out Amdro Ant Grandules when Chickens and Goats are locked up. I use Amdro in the evening after my animals are secured in their housing. By morning the grandules are gone. This safely works for me. Thank you Home Depot.
A: Yes, but you use only use a few sprinkles on the nest & the ants immediately take it into the nest.
A: Never caused any problems with my pets.
A: i have been using it as directed for years and never had a problem. It is great stuff - handle with care. My animals are not exposed to it.
A: Yes I have both a dog and a cat and they have never been bothered in several years of use
A: Hi Santi, As long as directions are followed correctly according to what is on the label, we do not expect any harm to come to pets. Thank you.
A: You sprinkle just a few granules over the nest. As much as you might want to drown the little monsters in it if you've ever been bitten, use just a few. They take it immediately. Keep checking for any new nests both big & small. The container has a shaker top on it.
A: Just sprinkle on and around the mound.
A: Do not add water. Do not apply ON the mound, sprinkle it AROUND the mound. If you disturb a fire ant mound, they will move before taking the bait & you will end up chasing their new mound(s). If possible, apply in the morning when they are out foraging; that way they will have all day to take the bait. This stuff works like a charm if you just use it correctly. I have tried other things & they suck. This is the only product I have found that consistently works & kills the mound. I won't buy anything else.
A: No water needed.
A: You do not have to use water, just sprinkle and wait a day or two for nest to die
A: Hi KOH, Please be sure to read the directions on the label in its entirety before using the product. The directions state to apply on and around the mound and water is not needed at all with our Amdro Fire Ant Bait. Thank you.
A: No, Never add water. Apply on and around the mound only during dry conditions
A: Not on the mound, but around outside the mound. Don't add water
A: You sprinkle around the mound. This is a bait. It should be applied when dry and do not add water. You want the ants to eat it. Do not disturb the mound. Put out when ants are active.
A: No for garden. Okay if well is 5 feet or deeper.
A: Hi Pako, Amdro Fire Ant Bait can be applied around gardens or wells. It cannot be applied in vegetables gardens though but can be applied around the perimeter. The bait can be applied in ornamental gardens. In regards to wells, you should keep any product from getting into the well. We appreciate your business - thank you
A: It can be used anyplace. I even killed a nest full in the corner of my bedroom closet. They were gone in one day.
