Purchased Grant's Kills Ants from Amdro

Are these packets ready to use, they have hole in the center but the ants aren't going anywhere near these packets. Do the holes need to be punctured open? It says nothing on the box. Thanks for your help.
Asked by: Mo
No, do not touch just place them, Ants seem to ignore them, but are actually taking poison back to colony.

I had the small non-aggressive "Sugar Ants" show up in my kitchen. My kitchen is really clean. This was not millions of ants... yet... These ants made nuisance trails to dishes in the sink, fruit, to tiny counter top crumbs, and finally to my kitchen table. When these ants were suddenly and unexpectedly interrupted, they would scatter in all directions. I tried Raid traps at the back of my counter tops with no success. I tried another brand with no success. Then weeks later, I decided to try a bait trap one more time. I purchased Amdro Bait Stations and set out all four around the backs of the counter top next to the stove top area and sink... SUCCESS! No more ants after two days!

Installed 4 bait stations in kitchen where ant activity was high for almost two weeks. Did not witness any ants take the bait, but did notice several that went around this bait. I am wondering if this bait is only good for a specific ant and reason why some have better luck than others? Resorted to home made borax and sugar solution - and see immediate results with diminished activity in a day and now almost no activity in 2 days.

Just find the ant's path and place a bait station. A week or so later, no more ants! I've been buying these every spring for years.

I had a small ant infestation in a project car I've been working on, and after trying sever methods of removing them, this ant bait is the only thing that worked. After placing one in the car, within a week I wasn't seeing any more ants. It's been about a month and I haven't seen any more!

Living in Florida, with a parrot (food throwing), ants are a way of life, but we never get used to them!! Found this product in 2015 and extremely impressed...then, no where to be found. Several months ago, found it at Home Depot.com, ordered and WOW, what a job it does!!! In the interim, have tried several other products, including a liquid bait station, also by Amdro, and nowhere near as good! Love this product, clean and neat to use and really kills the ants, and keeps away at least 3 months!!!

Had couple of trail of ants. Placed the baits right in the trail. 8hrs later, the trail still there, ants just going around the bait, totally not interested in it. This is not a BAIT, this is ant repellant! It will not work unless the ants actually eat the bait, but they are not attracted to it at all! Who makes products like this? Don't they test these things?

I had an infestation after ants finally discovered my 16 month old's crumbs below her highchair. I killed many by hand but put two of these traps down before I left for work. When I got home, there was just one ant mozying around.
