Also apparently switch covers have shrunk over the years since we last had to replace a bunch. This is an attractive plate and matches up to the description. However it was ever so slightly smaller then the standard hole covered by the previous plate. Husband had to fabricate a piece of tile or grout to fill in. Otherwise a nice product.

The finish touches are what makes a space unique and these plates are just that. Either for a light switch or an outlet anywhere in the house, it looks great. I replaced one plate and seeing the difference I've changed a few and I have more to go.
The metal material is strong and durable, it was easy to install and looks attractive.
An easy upgrade with the plate and it only took a few minutes to do it.

A unique solid very nicely finish wall plate. So many wall plates are thin and flimsy and bend when you screw them on. Not this one! The Ansley cast wall plate is thicker than a plastic or pressed metal plate and looks and feels solid. The brushed metal finish helps this wall plate blend in any decor. This looks great above the kitchen counter, for a rich solid look and feel. A nice finishing touch when redoing a room

I added This just to see the effect it would add. I am glad i did as just love how this has the potential to accent both the outlet and the ambiance of a room or wall. It is nice to add some color and a heavy , well finished receptacle/toggle switch cover. I just love how little thins like this just clean up and improve small areas that effect the overall area. Will add more for sure.

This is a nice looking and fairly heavy metal double,light switch wall plate. They call it oil rubbed or on the package it says "Aged Bronze", but I think the color is much closer to black on the main part of the cover, with bronze or copper highlights on the edges. The plate is fairly stout and does not bend easily. It is also slightly larger that a standard plastic cheapy light cover which is nice as it covers any edges where the painting had stopped. It measures about 4 3/4" square and about 1/4 inch thick on the edges, the material that it is made of is about 1/16" thick. The screws have been painted or powder coated black and the slot for the screwdriver is slightly thinner than a standard screwdriver, and it is fairly easy to chip the coating on the screws. The coloring on the plate seems to be fairly durable and not easily scratched (but you can scratch it) All in all a nice looking and seemingly well built cover, as long as you don't mind it being more black than bronze or brown.

I like this double wall plate oil rubbed bronze finish. What makes this more unique to me is the depth of the plate itself. I think it gives it more appealing look to this plate. See the pics.
Now it has a nice finish but since I was using it in a bathroom location and from pass experience with metal plates. Eventually they will start to rust and have rust dots forming because of the humidity in the bathroom. So what I do, and you really don't have to, is that I use clear matte finish spray that is good for interior or exterior usage on the plate.
Because I am particular, I usually try to make sure all the screw slots are lined up too.
Overall an excellent quality metal double switch plate.
