This wall plate is exactly what I was looking for. Its trendy sleek ebony and high end looking. I have a black and red theme in my kitchen and I just bought the black cabinet knobs last week which were a sleek ebony ultra modern design so I was thrilled to come across this "matching" black wall plate. I installed it right after I took the picture and it really pulled my room together nicely. The color shown is true to life.

This is a well made metal wall plate with an attractive border that looks good on my master bath wall. It makes it easy to see and turn on/off without searching for it in the very early mornings when it is low light. It fits slightly larger than the prior plastic light switch cover so it does a good job of hiding paint borders. The screws are color coded so it has a nice finished look. And it is easy to keep clean, unlike plastic. Installs quickly with just a screw driver and should last a life time.

Standard wall plates came then, and still do, as if there were millions of them in stock that have to be sold off before anything new shows up, in a very limited choice of colors, styles and enamel or clear plastic covered wall paper or "cute" theme finishes, but until recently, style and quality statements were not to be found in this necessary and often highly visible home accessory that you were "stuck" with using everywhere. All hardware is included, and it takes less than five minutes to install. My favorite thing about it is there are never any smudges or fingerprints!.it wipes clean easily without dulling he finish

Only issue is that the black gets smudges easily if I can say it that way? And no matter how easy you screw the screws in they chip the black paint away which is a minor inconvenience but looks cheap after the fact

Realy nice fit and color plating. Not easy to scratch. Fits Lutron decor switches and dimmers great. Would recommended to all.
