New shine to old electrical outlets
This is a pewter finish/brushed silver. They match my brushed steel finished cabinet hardware perfectly. The plain brown plastic covers on my island outlets looked really out of place, on my totally remodeled kitchen. Surprisingly, of all the styles/colors available, they were even the least expensive! Win-win!

Plate not a glossy white.
I had to order this online because nobody had one in stock locally. Shipping and price were great but the plate itself is a flat, off-white color. The screws that came with it are the proper color and finish.

Very Nice Switch Plate Upgrade
Got this to replace old and dated plates in the house. Adds a nice touch of elegance to the very white walls. Fit is very nice with one drawback: these plates are a little smaller than I expected (or were smaller than what was up) so some touch up paint will be required. Other than that, they are sturdy, easy to clean, and nice looking.

Love the plate if it had screws that would fit. These screws are HALF the length of the ones I removed from my old white plate. Now I must go try to find pewter finish screws that are longer.
