Anchor 2-Stage Whole House filtration systems are designed to meet your large capacity filtration needs and are ideal for high-flow, commercial, and industrial applications, including farms, restaurants, swimming pools, spas, and trickle irrigation. These systems feature 1 sediment filter and 1 carbon block filter cartridges. The double stage design gives you clean water from every faucet of your home. The system filters water at the point-of-entry to the house with zero wasted water. Enjoy the convenience of clean, refreshing water and reduce your exposure to health affecting contaminants. Also get softer skin & hair, cleaner laundry, and stain free sinks & bathtubs, free from drying & staining effects of chemicals. The 20 in. filter housings are made from NSF-certified FDA-grade durable polypropylene and are of highest quality. These heavy-duty housings can withstand a wide range of variations in water pressure and have a long service life.
  • Point of Entry (POE) or Point of Use (POU) filtration system with 2 large 20 in. filter cartridges for high flow applications
  • Capacity Estimate of 60,000 gallons
  • Stage 1 - 20 in. 5-micron polypropylene sediment pre-filter that removes sediment, silt, sand and dirt and extends life of other more expensive cartridge
  • Stage 2 - 20 in. 5-micron carbon block cartridge to absorb heavy chlorine and its byproducts such as THM and TCE
  • Unique pore structure of carbon is well suited for chemicals absorption, including SOCs such as pesticides and dioxins, and VOCs such as chloroform and petrochemicals

      A:  Hi Dave, this is a 2-stage whole house filter and does not remove heavy metals. It is not mentioned anywhere in description that it does.                 I honestly just got it installed by my plumber. He didn't seem to have any issue with the install...
                I honestly just got it installed by my plumber. He didn't seem to have any issue with the installation. I have 3 pressure gauges installed, one by my pressure tank, one on the filter and one on the outlet side of the filter. I run 40/60 on my pressure switch. There is been no drop of water pressure at the faucets, shower etc... My plumber also set up a bypass for when I change the filters . I will update more after a few weeks of use.
