Do you need to you the deck plate? Can it be installed without it?

AnswerHello, This unit may be installed without the deck plate. You do not need the deck plate unless you are replacing a faucet with a three-hole installation. The deck plate would cover the other two holes as this is a single-handle faucet. Thank You, Anzzi
Does this include the deck plate? Is the spray head metal or plastic?

It was time to change out my old leaky kitchen faucet. I chose to go with pull out Anzzi brand. It looks very stylish and brightens up kitchen with its chrome finish. I love pull out feature. Also it sits taller than previous one I had.
As far as installation its fairly simple even though directions are not the best.
There's plastic spacer with self adhesive tape that goes on the underneath the sink. It came in handy as there's limited working space underneath my sink and I even bought specialty faucet tool to remove old faucet hardware and install this faucet.
There's rubber gssket that you need to press onto metal washer.
Its great that faucet comes with stainless steel braided lines and they're color coded Red-hot, Blue-cold water. You can't mess this up when hooking up your lines.
I'm pleasantly surprised with quality of the faucet and will purchase this brand again.

Easy Standard Installation and very nice faucet. The finish on the faucet is very nice. Installation was pretty easy because we installed it before installing the new sink. It went without any complications. The quick connectors for the pull down faucet and the water supply lines make the installation take just a couple of minutes. The faucet has a good water flow and a nice even spray from the sprayer button as you can see in the photos. Very happy with the faucet.

What a fantastic sink improvement! The first thing I noticed was how heavy the assembly is. This is no cheap, flimsy faucet! Then, I noticed the brass used for the plumbing parts, Again, not flimsy in the slightest. Under the sink, the hardest part was holding the assembly above straight, in order to thread the locking nut into place.Following the simple, yet clear instructions, I was able to install this masterpiece in less than an hour after removing the old faucet. One thing appreciated under the sink, was the big red and blue flags on the connections, so I could easily make the proper hot and cold water connections while upside down under flashlight conditions.Having installed many faucets over the years, it's not a fun job, but installing this faucet came close. The wife was surprised and thrilled when she came home tonight. Game over - I win!

It is hard to get really excited about a kitchen faucet but when I opened the box containing this Anzzi polished chrome faucet, I was awestruck by the gorgeous finish and design aesthetics. I couldn’t wait to install it to replace my 15 year old faucet. Just as important was the high quality of this product. The sprayer design with its long spray hose allows for a comfortable grip and can easily reach any part of the sink. The temperature control works smoothly and is easy to set and change and at 1.8 GPM the water flow is more than adequate. Everything is metal with heavy chrome plating over rust resistant brass. The kit includes everything, except for tools, needed for installation including a rough-in valve and heavy duty supply lines that are long enough to reach all connections without buying extensions. The installation was very quick and easy. In fact, I let my daughter install it to learn how. I highly recommend this wonderful kitchen faucet as a good buy. In case anyone is interested, the Glacier Bay gray composite kitchen sink is also from Home Depot and looks great with this faucet.

What a piece of quality sturdy hardware for the kitchen sink. This unit comes with all the mounting hardware needed to install this easily identified faucet. The massive size and metal fittings all clearly marked for proper installation. Easy to read instructions included. Comes with heavy duty hoses and metal fittings for complete installation. The finish is bright and clear of defects. This unit will make a marble counter top shine. Pull down sprayer. Single handle valve for ease of use. Comes with a three hole cover for mounting or just install in a single hole. Solid mounting hardware for underneath sink.

The toggle switch is loose and switches to spray/1/2 spray...
The toggle switch is loose and switches to spray/1/2 spray without touching. When the sprayer is pulled out, it is difficult to return - need to fumble and twist to lock in. Do not purchase. Spend extra for a quality faucet.
