Q:Where can I get a replacement hot water valve? I have two Anzzi faucets that I bought from Home Depot a few years ago. The hot water valve on both is now leaking. I can not find the correct valve to replace them anywhere. I've tried several stores (Home Depot included) and replacement valves (American Standrad., Kohler). Nobody has the exact one that will fit. I've tried contacting Anzzi customer service twice and they have not responded.

          Pop up assembly issues
The pop-up assembly parts that come with these faucets is not compatible with these faucets. Its frustrating because it is the last part you install so to return you must un-install everything. Be aware that the assembly shown in the installation guide is different.

          Great looking, great quality
On opening the box, everything was packaged very nicely with each piece snug in its place. And it comes with everything necessary including the drain, tailpiece, and hose to connect faucet to handles. You will need to supply your own hose to connect to the water supply. On taking the parts out of the box I noticed the faucet handles each have a threaded ring with 3 screws each for mounting to the countertop - snug the ring, then tighten the screws. This was the first time I came across this method - every faucet should be like this. The parts all have a heavy quality feel to them. The handles turn very smooth and come to secure stops on each end - no wobble or spongy feel at the end of the turn like I've felt on other faucets. The aerator comes rated at 1.5gpm which is plenty. Normally I take the aerator apart and remove the restrictor but no need with this one. Plenty of water available. It's look speaks for itself. The parts have clean lines and a clean finish.

          Classic looking design and sturdy
Once I had taken it out of the box, I could see it was well constructed and didn't have too many parts to install. Someone else in the family did the installation up at our vacation home. He said the instructions were clear, it was easy to install and it had a really good water flow. It's heavy duty and a lot better than I expected. I wished he'd taken photos of it installed and I'll try to add some more photos at a later time, if possible. Also, the finish looks flawless and I can't wait to add more fixtures like this one installed soon. Also, I like the lifetime warranty!

Heavy, great finish, great feel when operating and perfect water flow
I’ve installed a number of faucets in the past couple of years as part of the review program. I have absolutely no incentive for providing a positive review. I tell it as I see it. This is not my first Anzzi product and so far I’ve had a very positive experience. First, I would absolutely recommend this faucet if you’re considering it. To be perfectly honest, though, I don’t think I’d spend this much on ANY faucet, but that’s just because my current bathroom isn’t worth it. But if this faucet is within your price range, it is definitely worth the money, considering the build quality. I had a $160 faucet that I had bought a few years ago and was quite disappointed with, as the cartridges were weeping, leaving the handles tarnished and nasty looking. This is one heck of an upgrade. I’m giving it a rating of “Good” for value only because I can’t say it’s “Excellent” because I feel like when you want something of this level of quality you have to be willing to pay for it, and that, by definition isn’t an “excellent” value. It’s an “appropriate” value. I did have some difficulty with the install, particularly the drain stopper and rod. Where the perforated bar affixes to the rod at the top is exactly where the center water supply enters the faucet. By the time I realized that I needed to loosen the faucet and shift it forward to get more room, the rod was bent and I just haven’t been able to get it back to being perfect. At first I also couldn’t get the stopper to operate at the proper travel. I’ll give some tips at the end that should keep you out of trouble and address both issues. Rubber O rings under the three pieces keeps it firmly in place and solid. The handles feel really nice and solid to operate. They’re intuitive and smooth. Heavy. The faucet is also quite heavy. Anzzi did not skimp on the material. The faucet is quite handsome, with an excellent finish that doesn’t seem like it will wear off in time. The flow is excellent and feels perfectly tuned. The tailpiece is solid metal. No plastic. It’s a bit short for my liking, and I’m probably going to have to cut off the plumbing above my trap and extend it a bit, as the tailpiece barely extends into the compression nut. As for my installation notes … be careful with the stopper rod – it’s pre-bent and is designed to be installed in the right orientation. My advice on that is to experiment with it immediately after installing the center faucet itself. Speaking of which, the large “C” washer that holds in the faucet from underneath needs to be as far forward as possible, meaning pull the faucet all the way to the front of the center hole and then hold the washer forward as you tighten the nut. I had the best luck using an open-ended ¾ inch wrench for the operation. If you don’t do this, you may not be able to operate the push/pull stopper handle smoothly as it can get bound up on the supply coupling underneath. When installing the tailpiece, move the nut and rubber bushing all the way down so that you can get the tailpiece to extend up through the sink enough to fully seat the ring from above. If you don’t fully set it the stopper will not be able to travel as far up and down as you need to fully seat and to open enough to properly drain. Again, I recommend you insert the ball rod into the tailpiece once installed to test the stopper by hand before attaching the perforated bar. Doing these checkpoints will avoid rework, which I learned the hard way. Be sure to face the profiles on the handles outwards and note that there is a faucet marked with red coloring and one marked with blue. Also note that the handles may not come correctly installed. Both of mine were wrong! Blow into each handle to note which direction is closed and ensure that the handle is facing outwards, aligning with the profiles on the plates before installing. By the way, I had an issue with an Anzzi kitchen faucet and they actually made multiple phone calls until they reached me and immediately offering to replace the unit, even before discovering that I was a reviewer. They even provided a return shipping label. That’s excellent service in my book.

          Simply Stunning Bathroom Faucet, Well-Made
This is a simply stunning bathroom faucet from ANZZI - widespread (3 piece) double handle sink faucet in oil rubbed bronze. Feels very high quality in weight, finish and function. Nice and weighty, but relatively simple to install. The finish is flawless and gorgeous, coordinates well with various other oil rubbed bronze finishes. The faucet handles absolutely glide - very smooth. Good water flow, too. Really enjoying this gorgeous new faucet.

Check the contents carefully before proceeding
The taps are very nice but have a design flaw, the plunger used to raise the plug stopper spins, so is often not centered. Aside from that my plumber tells me the installation was easy, but actually obtaining 2 sets of taps with all the elements included to install required 4 boxes, and 2 visits by my plumber. I had to call the company twice to advise pieces were missing and the assistance I received was hopeless. Throughout they continued to ask for photos of the missing pieces and asked plumbing questions I could not answer. My plumber advised what was required and I had no idea beyond that. I never received replacement parts and in the end I simply returned the deficient boxes to Home Depot and ordered new ones. Given this total lack of quality control I’m sure someone along the line will experience the same frustration I did as they open the boxes I returned, because it was obvious from our experience that both of the boxes we rejected had been opened in the past and parts removed.
