APC SurgeArrest Performance 11-Outlets Surge Suppressor is to prevent damage to your equipment from power surges and spikes. Its components such as MOVs and Thermal fuse ensure instantaneous reaction to lightning strikes and wiring faults. The protection of data lines (Ethernet, Coaxial and Phone lines) ensures complete protection of your equipment from surges. It also attenuates EMI/RFI line noise that can cause data errors and keyboard lockups, ensuring better performance of protected equipment.

Ethernet protection died
After 5 months i had trouble with my network connection. After I filtered out everything (modem, router, cable, switch, etc.) i realized that everything works fine if i bypass the APC ethernet protection.
I expected longer lifetime than 5 months.

APC Great Performance
We started out by buying a APC surge protector for our computer. It worked great so we purchased another for our entertainment center with a lot of expensive equipment plugged into it. We had electrical storms & never lost any equipment. Support for help is excellent. We will always use APC surge protectors.

Very Sturday and Feature Rich 11 Outlet Protection
Very well built, very sturdy and looks great alongside (or hidden) amongst your home electronics. Includes Phone Splitter, Coax, and Ethernet protection too which is great. Definitely appreciate that the outlets are spaced further apart to allow for larger plugs. Highly recommended!

great and good price
This appears to be well-made and, despite what some other reviewers state, the battery seems to be easily removable and replaceable if ever need be. I'm using it solely to keep my home network (ARRIS TG1682G Xfinity Gateway) and security hub (iSmartAlarm CubeOne HUB) running in the event of a power outage. I flipped the circuit breaker to test it and it kept my network/security running for over 2 hours and appeared to still have some juice left when I ended the test. As an added bonus, it also has a single USB power port that I can use in a pinch to charge my mobile phone or tablet. This unit fits my needs for a reasonable price.
