I am installing this product vertically, but if I use nails not every piece will be nailed into the studs.....what is your recommendation for instalation?
Hey Blanka, thanks for your question. It is important that every board is nailed directly into an appropriate nailing surface. In the case of a vertical installation you can add plywood or OSB over open framing or existing drywall to quickly and easily to create a continuous nailing surface for your boards. Can this be hung vertically over sheetrock with construction adhesive and nails?
Hello, thanks for your question, this product can be installed directly over sheetrock but it needs to be installed with nails and ideally it should be nailed directly into the underlying studs. Installing this with adhesive is not recommended.

We also recommend acclimating the boards for 48 hours prior to installation and applying two topcoats of paint to the boards after installation to help protect them from water.
