A battery-operated pulse ignition gives way to a propane heater that emits up to 40,000 BTUs of heat. Clear fire glass covers the burner and adds a touch of elegance. An easy access door located at the base allows you to conceal a 20 lb. propane tank (not included). And for your added safety, this fire pit comes with a thermocouple flame failure device. AnswerThe fire pit is made of steel, with stainless steel legs and burner cover. Steel has the potential to rust. The part where you can place your drink will not get hot. AnswerFire pit is away from windows, air intake openings, sprinklers and other water sources. Fire pit is at least 24 in. on rear and at least 24 in. on sides from combustible materials. Fire pit is on a hard and level surface. Positioning Specs from the manual. As long as the space is well ventilated, and the unit wont fall into the water you should be good. Be certain to wax the painted surfaces per manual instructions as areas near bodies of water tend to be humid, and can rust the unit if it is not properly maintained.

I find that it’s extremely loud and it sounds like...
I find that it’s extremely loud and it sounds like more gas is coming through the hose . It’s hard to sit outside and enjoy it because it’s so loud. Maybe there something wrong with the holes but it’s brand new so I don’t know what could be wrong.
