Does this item come with a base?

AnswerThis 9 ft. Offset Cantilever umbrella will come with a cross base, but it dose not include weights, thanks!
Can I put this Umbrella on my own stand?

AnswersNo. This umbrella comes with its own stand that is designed to account for the offset/cantilever function. Weights and a base would be required.

Vendor stated handle isn't suppose to latch.
Umbrella is great, problem is the handle came defective but according to the manufacturer the handle isn't suppose to stay on. They stated in the email that you are suppose to insert it and remove the handle when done and that it doesn't latch. Instructions state it latches and there is a ball spring on the handle which would only be on it to latch. That's the defect, it's permanently compressed. Needless to say, their response was merely to close their case and home depot will offer the refund but all I wanted was a replacement part which forces me to go through the vendor...

The umbrella is nice and the set up was good....
The umbrella is nice and the set up was good. I even bought the weighted pieces for the base. But after putting it together and opening up the umbrella, there were 2 very sharp slits in the fabric. I had read this on other reviews, but I thought it was a mfr issue on those. This was cut almost as if it was done on purpose. It could not have been slit opening the box due to the way it was packaged and how we opened it. We were extremely disappointed, but Home Depot didn’t ask any questions and refunded it. The problem was it was very difficult to transport to and from as it didn’t fit in the car. I had to request help to tie it down on the roof, but I felt it wasn’t done any better than I could have done. All in all it was a nightmare experience.
