Check with the supplier.
No. This is a standard 12/12 hip roof with curved hips and will look good on any pitched roof. My garage roof is 8/12 pitch hip roof and looks elegant.
Accentua's stock units accommodate roof pitches as steep as 10/12, but not 12/12. The company can provide units that can be used with steeper pitches, but you would need to contact their custom units department. Please note that Accentua ships its cupolas with the bases uncut. So, if you were to build a curb on your roof, for example, you would be able to place the stock Olympia cupola on top of it. The Olympia has functional (fixed) louvers on each side. It will vent, as is. However, there is no screening, and no provisions to force air through it. So, if you are interested in doing that, you will need to add appropriate parts and/or cut a hole in your roof.
The base is solid PVC. You will need to cut it to the pitch of your roof. I believe a template was included. Any fine tooth metal blade should work.
The base is square and will fit on any pitch and can be supported over double rafter.. Head off with adouble rafter for the 16" spacing.
