A:  I would check with the helpful Home Depot associate at the pro desk but it (or one similar to it) is likely found in either the electrical or plumbing isles of the friendly Home Depot near you.

A:  If you look online on homedepot.com you can see if it is in your store. If not, you can order it at the help desk. Here is the internet number, the model number, and SKU number from the homedepot.com website Internet #300082125Model # APW67-1Store SKU #1002062731 I checked my store online and it is not there but it is easy enough to order and have shipped to the store or your home.

        by|Oct 25, 2019

A:  It depends on the store but there are a couple of ways to find out where it is: Ask at the information desk - near the door in most stores. Download the Home Depot app if you have a smartphone and it can be set to 'know' which store you are in and often shows the aisle and bin references for locating the part. Alternatively buy online and have it delivered.

A:  Hello Wenn, It can be found in the plumbing section of your local Home Depot.

Good Plastic Panel and Price for Single Valve
Works nicely and provides a clean look. I mounted it in the ceiling for access to a quarter turn water valve that I turn on and off once a year. The access door is easily opened without pushing something into the hole - by pushing in slightly on the flat portion of the latch with your thumb while sliding the latch back with your forefinger.

Perfect fit for the job! I needed a small access door for tv in wall power kit, since the other side is the garage there was of course a fire wall. This was easier than patching drywall and will allow access in future if hdmi cables go bad.

Great looking and very useful in keeping an opening in a wall "accessible" for both code compliance and maintenance. This 6" X 7" access door panel is just what I needed to give me permanent access to operate a ball valve that feeds a water softener. These access doors come in numerous sizes and configurations and are a necessity unless one were to go to the trouble of manufacturing a custom one. The plastic by GTR technologies is able to be painted as well. It should be noted that the type of application which is a double sided tape will limit how secure the flange of the door will adhere to a given surface. Higher ambient temperatures should also be avoided as well as ceiling mount applications. Smoother surfaces prepped properly will do better. The actual opening for a nice tight fit and more surface area for securement by the tape is 4 3/8" X 5 3/8". The door has a child deterring feature to be overcome in order to open the door and gain entry.

Deceptively simple installation. This door as beyond easy to get into a wall. Literally just cut an opening and take the backing off of the adhesive. Press hard for a few seconds and boom you are done. The latch does take some effort to open if you do it the right way but it keeps the door securly closed. I would not use this in a location that is exposed to the sun or is going to be frequently used. However if you need to ocassionally access a pipe in the wall, this is your door.

Convenient! Easy to use! Simple! These words come to mind because the installation is so easy. In my application, I have a small corner chase with a water line shut-off. I took the cover off, cut out the small rectangular piece of sheet rock where I measured, placed the panel, traced inside with a pencil, and then peeled off the two sides of the sticky tape on the back side. First, after you measure and cut your piece out, fit the door to be sure your cut is right. Then peel off the paper on the pack of the adhesive pad (the other side of the adhesive pad is yellow. That side is down on the sheet rock). It is a little tricky to peel off both sides and then carefully fit the now sticky pad around the back of the panel but it is doable. Push the panel in, and it sticks. Use a cork board tack or a screw tip to push gently into the tiny hole on the front latch while gently lifting the latch up. The door swings open. This panel is white but can be painted. This was all easy enough to do. Great product! I recommend it.

This GTR TECHNOLOGIES 6 inch x 7 inch plastic access door panel in white is a easy to install access door and can be painted to blend in with any wall. The actual size of the opening is 4 inches x 5 inches and if you need more access space larger doors are available. The door is easily removed if needed in a cramped space. The frame of the door had a double sided tape which seems adequate to adhere to a smooth sheetrock wall. The latch is child resistant and you need to use a pencil or small screwdriver to push in on the hole above the latch and then raise the latch to open the door. This is not explained in the directions but it is shown in a video on the ACSPANEL.COM web site. I found it to be a very adequate solution at a very reasonable price. The panel has a one year warranty.

This review is of the GTR 6” X 7” White Plastic Access Door. The door is easy enough to install. I used the back of the panel to mark the wall where I had to cut. I needed to get access to a valve that was put behind a paneled wall. When the opening was cut I pulled off the paper from the self stick material on the door and pressed it into place. There is a small hole above the latch that I had to press before I could unlatch the door. This prevents kids or others from opening it the door. It seems durable enough but I think over time the self stick material might need the help of a screw or two. It is for sure a quick way to get a finished look to access something in a wall.

Great, simple little panel keeps access discreet, tidy and looking good. Part of the packaging is stuck to the panel with double sided tape and removing it left a residue that was tough and time consuming to remove. It didn’t affect the panel just the aesthetics. The child proof lock was extremely tough to move the first time and I was worried I would destroy the lock while trying. Once it was freed up it moved easily and positively. This panel is easy to install and use and it keeps things looking neat.

The previous owners of our house set up a security system and ran the wiring before the garage walls were put up. We wanted to upgrade the system and needed access to the wiring. An access point had to be cut out of the wall and the installers did not cover it when completed. I picked ut the GTR Technologies 6 in. x 7 in. plastic access door panel to cover the hole in the wall. The unit is light weight and some rudimentary instructions, though not complete. Basically it has a double sticky tape over a compressed foam core that sticks to the back of the plastic surround and to the wall around the opening. Once installed I could not get the door opened until I realized that it requires a pin to be pushed in a hole on the door that allows entry. Certainly looks better than the hole and will keep any rodents out as well..
