The item description and the specifications table for this particular item indicates that a "timer" is included and that it has a motion-detection system. This is not true. There is a much more expensive model that is motion-sensitive. I will write more about this product model after I install it. A "chat" dialogue with HD was exceptionally pleasant and productive.
