The preferred product would be copper flashing. You could put this there and the copper will inhibit moss and algae growth until it erodes away, but that will be much less than the life of the roof.

Can this be used for EMI shielding instead of using copper foil tape?

Not as a substitute for Copper foil tape, but it may have some uses. Copper foil EMI tape has a conductive adhesive, this product is copper foil bonded to an unspecified polymer sheet that should be presumed to be an insulator.

That depends on your taste; this material is very thin and making it smooth would be a challenge.

We used this around the base of a raised patio. It has been through one rainy season and has started to patina, YES! Thinks it's cool stuff.

Interesting product
I had read other reviews about this product and was interested in how it would work out. I found it to be just what I needed. I'm building a decent size shed in the backyard. As some reviews said, the adhesive backing is a little difficult to get off, but if you hold down on end with your hand on the sticky side and pull with continuous force, it pulls off. This flashing is fairly thin, which keeps it from interfering with dimensional issues and makes it very easy to conform to what you're working with. It does crinkle at places when pulling the backing off. If you're thinking of using this as a beautiful copper flashing to "upgrade" your home, you've got the wrong product. This is an underlay flashing. The adhesive helps in placing it but in no way is meant to hold the product down. I tacked it to framing with small brass nails. This is probably too expensive to use for entire perimeter of a home.

Super thin copper, difficult to peak off the backing and when you do the copper creases and looks horrible, I’m not sure if there is supposed to be adhesive on the back but if there is it was barely there and did not hold at all
