Mine was 5"
Perhaps the label was wrong, but its clearly 5" diameter while stating 4" on the label. I ordered online so wasn't able to inspect it until I got home.

Works okay, kinda sloppy fit that allows lots of water...
Works okay, kinda sloppy fit that allows lots of water through if using for an end cap. With the addition of a hole sized for a round downspout, it makes a good transition piece or drill a bunch of holes for screen end cap.
