Hello and thanks for your inquiry, although we have had many customers install our awnings on their roofs, Advaning does not supply any recommendations or roof installation guides due to the extensive and individual circumstances involving roof installations. We have seen customers use a universal roof mount bracket for some installs that seems to lend itself to the Advaning brackets, but keep in mind that whenever installing on a roof the manual hand crank loops can become difficult to reach if not provided with enough clearance during the install / planning. Advaning highly recommends consulting with a professional installer/contractor familiar with roofing materials and installations to avoid possible injuries, roof/property damages, and ensure full awning functionality. Hello and thank you for your interest in Advaning awnings! I understand and share your concern regarding excessive tree sap accumulation. I also must apologize to inform that we do not sell replacement fabric for our retractable awnings. I recommend that should you decide to purchase one of Advanings retractable awnings for your sunshade needs, to exercise caution with your pine trees and always close the awning when not in use. Although tree sap can be cleaned off porous materials such as our awnings fabrics. You will need to first test the tree sap remover product on the fabric, before proceeding to treat the entire awning. We do provide general cleaning and care instructions in our user guide. Hello, Thank you for your inquiry! Advaning awnings can be mounted on wall, soffit, and roof top. We currently do not offer roof-top brackets. We recommend that you contact a licensed contractor for proper brackets and installation. Please see the awning specifications at www.Advaning.com which shows the dimensions of the awning. One key thing to note is the torsion bar size. Depending on roof-top brackets, the torsion bar might need to be slid into the brackets. Advaning awnings are built with torsion bar size of 40x40mm. The mounting height for MA1210-A118NG awnings will be best determined based on the following factors. (1). User's height: The mounting height should allow the user to operate a hand crank easily and comfortably (63 inches length), and allow a sufficient height at the front bar when the awning is fully open. (2). The Awning pitch: The factory default pitch is 15-degree. The awning pitch can be raised or lowered from 5~45 degree which will increase or reduce the front bar height when the awning is fully open. It is recommended to keep the pitch at factory default 15-degree, so the awning can be properly retracted back into the cassette.
