The right wheel does not turn/rotate on grass. It will rotate on gravel. The left wheel is OK.

AnswerSorry for the frustration you experienced. Check the height of the brushes. If they are too low it will cause the wheel to drag. For each rotation of the wheel it turns the brushes 5 times. The brushes need the freedom to do their job. Setting no lower than 4. You can call 800-448-9282 Monday-Friday between 7am to 5 pm CST for assistance.
I have zero lawn mower and I’m finding it very hard to dump using the handle that came with it as it is too short. Is there an extension or modification available?

AnswerUnfortunately, we do not have an extension. Some ZT customers have found success by adding a rope for dumping.

Will this sweeper pick up dog crap?

AnswersOnly if the dog poo were absolutely and totally dry and hard. Otherwise it will only make a real mess of things. If the stuff is at all soft, the brushes would merely smear it around, while some of it would stick to the brush fibers and get caked on and hard, making the brushes almost impossible to clean and will likely get damaged in any attempt to do that. Do I need to say more? Hopefully, they have fixed a problem with the brush height control pin. When I got mine, the adjustment pin was a little short, so the brush height control bar came disengaged, and the brush real dropped down to the lowest level, and completely stopped turning. But their customer support provided excellent help buy promptly sending me a newer version of the control pin, now ~ 3/8 " longer. This fixed the problem.
The wheel won’t turn with the grass the least little damp. On concrete it’s great. Is there something that can be done to make the wheel easier to turn?

AnswersYou may have the brushes down too low. For each turn of the wheel the brushes should turn 4 + times. If you have the brushes down too low it will impair the brushes from flipping the lawn debris into the hopper. No lower that setting 4

Not a great first impression
At first it seemed nice. Paint is scratched but that could have been from retailer. Then when I was mounting one of the brackets I noticed the sheet metal was welded in such a way the holes overlapped... Only way to get the pin through was to drill out the extra metal, so I was then able to put it together. Instructions are pretty poor as well.

Don't Fill It Full!
Purchased 2 weeks ago and have used it for 2 days. Assembly wasn't too bad, though I'd recommend using REAL photos, not the simple pictures included. My problem is with dumping. If you fill the sweeper as full as pictured on the web site, it will dump all over the front of the sweeper, including into the brushes and over the top of the lip. I have a lot to care for, and making many trips to dump smaller loads is a pain. All else works well, and if you have a lawn without too many trees, you'll do fine.

Love it!
This sweeper is an amazing workhorse. I'm 70 years old and no longer fear raking leave. I'm a little disappointed in the construction, but I admit the price is amazing. The plastic basket was starting to tear from rubbing against metal, but warranty service is great. They sent me a new basket. One other issue is the lower, leading edge. A few times I have hit tree roots and it has bent the edge. I hammered out most of the damage. I don't see it affecting the performance.

Large capacity and efficient
I bought this sweeper 2 weeks ago to maintain my 1.5 acre lawn with numerous large trees which took me days of back breaking labor to clean up every fall racking and hauling leaves with a cart behind my garden tractor..

Lawn sweeper
Product arrived a little banged up. Took me about 30-60 minutes to put it together. I set the height and did a test run on the yard. Worked fantastic!
I recommend that you do NOT overfill. It makes it difficult to dump. Not impossible just harder than it needs to be. Err on the lesser full side.
I was using my sweeper with a large zero turn mower and I could not reach the handle to dump from the tractor. I figured that would be the case but I opted for the steel rod over the rope pull model because I didn’t want to deal with the rope getting caught up in the brush.
It’s bigger than you think!

Works as expected
This lawn implement works well for my property. Picks up the clumps of grass clippings after mowing. Picks up Austrian Bottle Tree leaves (constantly dropping) from the 3/4 inch rock out front.
Some assembly issues: Bracket holes for catch basket arm not evenly assembled, had to hone out with drill bit.
Tongue bracket assembly screws had under sized nuts, needed to buy the right 5/16 .size
I do like this implement.

Great Machine
Just use this machine today behind a ZTR. The machine was easy to put together with all holes being open and lined up. Just followed the instructions and shortly the machine was together. I am not very fond of the spacer that is to be used with the hitch but that is nit-pickin. Started and it was not picking up much but then i had not set the brush height. So i set the brush height and off we go; working good but not great. Adjusted brush height and off we go again and this thing is a BEAST. Man this the only way to handle leaves and most other yard trash! All i can say is thank you. Emptying the hopper is a pain in the old sack though. Still working on that one. I love this machine and really recommend it unless you like raking leaves.

Really Outstanding Performance
I did a little research prior to buying this one and have not been disappointed. The assembly was pretty easy and the instructions really simple. I put it to work the same day I assembled it. Really works great! I am amazed how quickly I can tow and still do a good clean with this sweeper. I also like how quickly it disassembles for storage.

One acre with long leaf pines, magnolias, and live oak trees. Used it 3 times and the sweeper is built like a tank here in the US of A. Called customer service about a concern and they were good people. I noticed they even ask owners for suggestions on how to improve it. That's awesome. It picks up everything that falls from those trees, dethatches, and leaves live grass. The sweeper stores easily along the wall and I hung my basket which isn't heavy on the wall in my garage 12 feet up. Lawn sweepers are great on level parts of a lawn but I have swales and dips so I have to make multiple passes over some spots and have it set low at 1.5 so it's a little overly aggressive on my centipede grass. I should add some topsoil to level the low spots. My zero turn doesn't like the uneven spots either.
