Q:Can you recommend a method of acheiving a black finish on these vents. Should I take the white ones and paint them or would I have more success in painting the mill (unfinshed) ones? What type of spray paint will hold up? TNX!

Answer This Question
A:Â We don't really have a great way to paint our soffit vents because we do not suggest doing that. The slots can get clogged up with paint which stops air flow. The best paint we have found is Krylon Outdoor Paint. Thank you!

I bought this for venting the shed I'm building. It will allow air into the shed at each rafter under the roof. It also keeps out bugs. I wish the flanges were a little longs to make it easier to tack into place before adding the wood to finish sealing area between fascia board and wall. I used this product at another house to allow an upper deck water to drain out when the lower side was closed off.
