5000-Watt Electric Start Propane Gasoline Powered Portable Generator with Mobility Kit is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great value Propane is a great fuel for a home portable generator. Starts quickly every time and runs quiet. Easy to handle, clean, and safer than gasoline. It works great.

After buying my generator in Wyoming and hauling it 300 miles to my second home in eastern Idaho, I happened to notice one sentence buried in the manual that said not for use at elevations above 3,000 feet. Almost every place west of Nebraska is above 3,000 feet! I called the manufacturer to see if I could adjust the carburetor to run at a higher altitude and they said the unit was sealed and that it would never run at my altitude.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Up and Running The Generator Runs well, I just started it up yesterday. I had to get a battery for the electric start. I followed the guidelines that came with the generator to select the correct battery. I connected the propane, and it started right up. I have yet to put load on the unit. It is louder than I expected.
