what type wire gage do i use for these lights

wire type and 12 ,14,18

The light comes with wire already attached. You just connect it to wires that are already in the junction box. If you have to run more wire in the junction box use the same gauge.

hard to install by ower

Took me about ten minutes, and that included removal of the old defective light and going up and down a ladder many times. Very easy.

It is not adjustable for sensitivity but I just needed it for the backyard to replace one that started randomly activating every few minutes. This one worked well and picks me up when I walk by several feet from the sensor.

The manual says that it could be used as normal lights with clicking the switch on/of twice in quick succession. Unfortunately it didn't function so. Hence my expectation was not met.
