Does it has the dusk and dawn feature? The demo video says it has but the product specifications don't show this feature.
Asked by: April
As many have already mentioned, you can buy EITHER a Motion or DusKtoDawn model...BUT... If you have a Motion model, you can BYPASS and have lights on for up to 6 hours by turning light switch on and off twice within 3 seconds. Do the same to set it back to Motion only. This is a great option if you typically use Motion however need lights on for a while to do a project. (read instructions...see link in product description)

How is it fitted to the wall/ceiling?

Do I require anything else to be able to put it on the ceiling?
Asked by: Palaranda
The light is meant to be mounted to a box capable of holding the 5 pound light fixture. I had mine mounted under the eave and it works nicely to cast light across most of the yard both front and back. I had a flood light mounted in the eave that I had replaced with this model but before replacing I ran a wire through the soffit to the back of the house and cut in another box recessed mounted with the soffit so the bracket and light will cover the box thus keeping it tight to the eave and it blends in nicely with the house. I never tried a wall mount but if you go to the home depot web site and look up the model Eaton has a nice video of how to mount it.

I just purchased 4 of these and had them installed on each corner of the house. I replaced 4 normal flood lights I had for 20+ years. Love the LED lights, 2400 lumens is plenty bright. The two 270 degree all pro lights in the front of the house appear more sensitive to street traffic. Says it covers up to 50ft and lights are approx 40ft to the street. Does the sensitivity + or - equate to sensor distance? If set to - all the way, does that equate to maybe 0-5ft. If set to full +, does that mean 50 feet? Some one else online asked the same question but I didn't an answer.. If I could lessen the motion distance 10-15FT, I would give this product 5-star. It's at 4 1/2 right now!
Asked by: Hilton
Yes if you dial it down it won't be as sensitive to the distance. You may have other obstacles activating it too as it is a different style photo/ motion sensor (270 degree), maybe trees or shrubs activating it? I had to pare the tree back some that didn't seem to interfere with the last flood model. The neighbors liked my old lights turning on with activity in the street as they walk their dog after dark some times and I think it gets the unwanted something to think about maybe.

This is almost next to impossible to install as it arrives. So many issues could have been resolved if it was just designed better. The screws that hold the light to the bracket are not even close to being long enough and good luck trying to mount it overhead with no way to align the holes. It is difficult enough to practice fit on the workbench, much less while trying to balance on a ladder. Plus this fixture is heavy, so don't trust mounting it in a previously installed electrical box. It probably will not hold the weight over time and it will all come tumbling down. The wiring connector will not fit up into the box properly and if you mount the ground wires to the ground screw as instructed, there is not enough space for the light to mount to the bracket because the screws are not long enough. It is a shame that this is so poorly designed Seriously almost impossible to install unless you do some serious modifications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really a great fixture Copper Lighting really did a outstanding job with this AlPro Revolve product, really a solidly built fixture perfect for outside use or even inside if you want would work great for a business area with cameras or security to take great pictures. Really like that can be ceiling or wall mounted and is very easy to install and set up. Just installed the connector (see picture) and stick out the center hole in the mounting bracket that you install on the box, then just line up the connection bar, plug in the connector from fixture, line up the indents with the screw on fixture with the mounting bracket bumps with screw holes and screw the fixture to the bracket. Then just have to make sure you go to test on switches (I did at night as that is when is used) set on time and sensitivity of motion (time on is on time after motion stops) Some might want to adjust for being to sensitive for like cats and dogs turning it on. But finished hooking up and adjusted the first night and is working great and really light up the area. Warning don't look at light if you are adjusting at night as you will be blinded for a few seconds as are very bright lights

The ceiling is at least 16 feet high. When i purchased the home 15 years ago, the light illuminating the breezeway was the standard, old style twin spots with a motion detector. My one upgrade years ago was replacing the Halogen floodlight bulbs, with LED bulbs , which did use far less electricity. The biggest issue over the years was finding a replacement that looks modern, saves energy, and has good motion detection. Believe me, I tried multiple online and light centers and came up with nothing. While shopping at HD for floodlight replacements in the back yard, I spotted the All Pro Triple Head Security Light. While this is designed and marketed primarily for under the corner eves, I saw the potential. Installation was straight forward, and eliminated the multiple connections necessary to tie the old floodlight system. The unit looks great, and functions even better. The 270 degree motion sensor triggers adequately from all directions. The light is bright, but not blinding. The unit comes with a tool designed to easily rotate the LED domes to evenly spread coverage. Overall, I could not be happier with the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Great light, the motion sensor works great. I have it mounted on the back of my shop which is on the side of a mountain and is totally wooded area all around is about 100 ft from the tree line so get wildlife back there and to help out my 100lb Ger. Shepard light comes on and I can see what he is chasing and barking at. Is pretty east to install the mounting base with the bump for the location of attaching the screw is a little hard to line up but once you get that is good to go. I have a switch on it so after it is up can put in test and adjust motion sensor and time on knob, I mounted it side ways do to the ribs on the siding. Took picture before I got the silicone cleaned off the other areas, but does look and work great. So you need a security light or just a light that comes on when you need it, like coming home with items to take in the light comes on so you can see. Is very bright so bright even you can look at it when it is on. Is a heavy grade of metal and should last for years to come, seems like all is really heavy duty, like very much

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Once installed, easy controls and excellent light The good points….. At almost 5 pounds in weight it has the look and feel of a solid unit of the die-cast aluminum housing. The instructions are clear and precise and easy to follow. Once connected, the look of it is very pleasing on the eyes and we had compliments on its appearance and its effectiveness in lighting up the areas we need to. The tool for adjusting the, refractive optics works flawlessly as does its ability to rotate the unit to your preferred position. The sensitivity control as well as the timer also works as described. Overall this REV32735MW unit is a classical design for under the porch or anywhere that requires an eave motion sensor light. Also good to note is the long guarantee of the product. It is an eave unit only and requires a recessed junction box. I changed an old 8 year old lamp and in doing so I discovered that the old lamp was connected electrically by two wires with no junction box. I cut a hole in the ceiling and because there is no joist to fit the box to, I put a piece of ¾ inch wood through and screwed it from the outside after fitting the new junction box making sure that the drilled hole was big enough for the two wires to fit through the wood and the box. With the revolving bracket securely fixed to the now installed junction box and with the easy connect fit plug pulled through, it was ready to fit the light fitting to the revolving bracket. So far so good. But now it was plain to me that there is an issue with respect to an easy fitting. To fit the light fitting to the bracket (which of course is now secured on to the junction box) the wires have to be pushed back through and into the junction unit while at the same time trying to line up the two screws to embrace the bracket. Herein lay the problems I encountered. The easy connect plug that is from the junction box fits into the plug from the light fitting thus making the electrical connection would not click into a place. It just pushed in as far as it would go but did not lock in to place. I had the side of my face to the ceiling in order to line the fitting so it could be screwed into place. Struggling to line it up I lowered the unit a little so I could see where it should line up, but every single time I lowered it a little the electrical connection plug separated. To say that this was annoying is an understatement. So to be able to fit it together, the wires and the two piece plug have to be slotted through into the junction box as there is no room whatsoever for the wires or the plug to stay out of the box and on top of the unit. Plus at the same time you have the side of your face glued to the ceiling to be able to see and not forgetting the 5 pound weight that is having an adverse effect on your ability to hold it steady with one hand. Finally with the assistance of my wife who screwed it together whist I held it up, we had it connected. First time of checking and the unit did not work. Checked and the two part plug had again separated. This time after reconnecting it, I put some electrical tape around the plug to hold it. This time it worked. To me, it would have been better for the two ends of the electrical connection plug to click into place holding them together securely. Considering the lack of space to see what you are doing. I do realize that it is a safety issue that the plug especially is in the junction box so perhaps a longer set of wires out of the light fitting would go a long ways to correcting this problem of having your face hugging the ceiling. At the moment there are only a couple of inches in length before they meet the attached plug

Rated 1 out of 5 by from POOR Design - good quality light I have installed *many* security lights and none were as difficult to install as this one. I consider myself to be an 'above average' handyman and have tackled many projects. This one should be a difficulty of about a "3" on a 10 scale - but is more like a "10" for difficulty. Read on .... The bad part about this product is that it DOESN'T need to be this difficult. The designers failed. The light - at about 5 lbs - has some 'heft' to it. Consider this when you are hanging on a ladder with the light pushed up over your head against the eave ...... for several minutes. I read the instructions (always do) and looked at the pictures (I do that too) prior to starting this exchange. Seemed simple enough - until I got started. The old light came down with no issues. Then I started to install this light fixture. Here we go! a. The pigtails/connector coming out of the light fixture are TOO SHORT to safely and easily connect to the other half of the connector (in your ceiling box) so you are forced to hold the light fixture (over your head) with one hand - at an odd angle - while trying to connect the two ends of the orange connector with the other hand . WHY? Solution: make the pigtail longer!) b. The orange connectors do not 'click' into place - so each time you move the light fixture 'just too far' it disconnects. WHY? (solution: have a positive lock connector) c.This is the most onerous issue: The hole in the middle of the plate is TOO SMALL for the orange connectors to fit through. I tried to connect the power to the supplied orange connector and ran it through the hole in the base plate. The connector would NOT fit through the hole in the base plate. WHY? Next, I tried to leave the orange connector inside the box and feed the other connector through the hole, but he pig tail is NOT LONG ENOUGH WHY? I also tried to leave the connector outside of the box (between the base plate and the light fixture) but there is not enough clearance (gap) to allow the screws to attach the light fixture to the base plate. WHY? (solution: lengthen the pig tail AND either change the size of the orange connectors so it can fit through the hole in the base plate OR increase the hole size in the base plate so that the connector will fit through it into the box). d. The length of the screws that fasten the light fixture to the base plate are too short. WHY? (solution: lengthen the screws to allow one side to be started At this point I'm extremely frustrated, it's dark and I can't connect this the way that it was designed. . . so I stop for the night and bring the fixture inside to have another look. Now I am forced to cut the orange connector off of the light fixture and solder a longer lead wire (thus voiding my warranty).... but this will allow me to connect the wires the house current with wire nuts that fit through the hole in the base plate, push the excess wire into the box AND safely lift the light fixture up to the base plate to screw it in place. So - I still have not finished the installation of this light, but feel certain that it will be in place tonight or tomorrow - depending on what time I get home and what time God turns off the big yellow light in the sky.

This is a well-constructed, sharp-looking alternative to to standard security lights. It's also more expensive than most, but you get a sturdy metal housing and good, bright LED lamps. It is plenty bright for almost any residential need. The motion sensor has plenty of distance and sensitivity as well, but it is also my only complaint. Instructions say the sensor should rotate, but mine did not. Nor does it tilt. Because the sensor doesn't pan or tilt, it makes it extremely difficult to avoid false alarms from things like traffic passing on the street. The trouble shooting provided with the light suggested that in this instance you relocate the whole light, which wasn't really an option for us. Installation was easy, but I had to spend several hours experimenting with putting tape over the sensor to block the area that sees the street in front of our house. Once I got the tape right, I actually painted over those parts of the sensor for a more permanent solution. For the price and other features, this absolutely needs a pan and tilt adjustable sensor. Thus, minus a star, maybe two.
