Very Clever Shelf Add-on
They say simple is best. This shelf is a very simple add-on to an existing wall socket. Its easy to install (one screw), and provides a nice 4"X6" shelf to place your cell phone when it is charging. It uses your existing wall socket face plate to hold it in place. It is also useful in a bathroom or kitchen environment where you have wall outlets at counter top level. In the bathroom you can use it when plugging in small appliances (like a re-chargeable razor or an electric toothbrush). In the kitchen you can plug in other appliances (toaster, coffee pot etc) and then place a small plant on the shelf. If you get something like an ivy plant, the overhanging leaves/flowers will hide the plugs and wires below. It comes in three colors (White, Almond, Black). I think it would look nice if a few wood grain finishes were available as well. Its a good value with price point of $12 per 2 pack.

Ok, I'll say meh, not bad.
Ok, nice and new idea. But I'm wondering if I could print this? It's easy to use, it works. Now the "bad" part of the review. This "shelf" uses the existing plate. It slides around because it's now secured to the wall or the plug. It sags a little with my "normal" sized Samsung World phone, I'm wondering how it will stand up to heat and time. I've included a pic of the shelf in actual use. I think this would be nice in the garage. I'm also thinking, it won't work in other parts of my house, most of my plugs are "sideways". But overall it's ok.

Great Simple Idea
I think that this perch is a fantastic idea! Who wants to put their phone on the sink or toilet tank or medicine cabinet whilst in the bathroom? Maybe some people but certainly not me. This perch gives it a nice spot out of the way of potential water damage or accidental fall into some undesirable area.
Anyone who knows how to use a screwdriver can install this. Its as simple as unscrewing the outlet cover, placing this over the outlet, then screwing the cover back on. BUT, there is a slight problem with the rectangular outlets. The screws for those covers are generally very short because of the wall being right behind the outlet. When you add the power perch (another 1/16" space to fill behind the cover) the screw may be too short to even reach where it needs to. Before you start, an indicator that you are going to run into this problem would be that the outlet is either flush with the cover or slightly recessed with the cover. If you have the outlets with the 2 oval-ish shapes, you should not have to worry about this problem.
This perch has a slight angle to it, meaning that the front half of the perch is angled slightly back towards the wall. I suppose that is to ensure that things don't easily slip off of the front, this falling off & potentially causing catastrophic damage to the item.
Lastly, this perch will accept the jumbo sized outlet covers. Actually it probably looks better with the jumbo sized covers versus the regular sized covers.

Versatile! Extremely easy to install!
The Power Perch outlet shelf is a nifty device! It is not only handy for charging cell phones but is great for a garage or shop to hold a battery charger or the bathroom to charge electric toothbrushes, razors, small trimmers , as well as soap dish, small radio etc. and provides a shelf to keep them out of the way of the sink. I have small bathrooms with single sinks so there is very little counter top space. This meets my needs perfectly! It is made of sturdy plastic. It is 6" wide x 4" deep. Made in USA!!

Love this little outlet shelf!!!
This is a great shelf that is attached to an electrical outlet border. The shelf is so totally practical as you can keep anything on it. My husband leaves his phone on it and it has a little hole at the back edge, where you can feed your power cord through it. This makes it a great spot to charge your phone or a rechargeable razor. Super convenient!!

Power Perch is great buy but has so many other uses
The shelf plate works well over outlets. The size is sufficient for most phones and charger bases. The plastic construction is excellent for use in an amp environment and with proper preparation could be painted to match a room’s color scheme.
I found it also works well over light switches. It is a convenient option for small item storage by a front door for keys and sun glasses. It can hold reading glasses over the switch in your study.
I recommend this product to others. It can deliver critically needed space in areas where storage is impossible to arrange. While providing time saving central storage for items in a convenient location.
If you use tape it will hold the wall plate in place during installation. I was unable to install the shelf over decorative plates. The wall cover also has to be tightened to the point the plate is concave in order to make the shelf stable. Also the screw that you used for your plate may not be long enough for this installation. To fix that put a shim behind the plate and use a longer screw, not included in product.
I would like to have an option for double width plates. Lastly it would be nice to have an optional LED to mount under the shelf for increased visibility and nightlight options.

Nice Idea
I liked the idea of getting my tooth brush off the counter top. When I wash my hands I have a tendency to splash water on the counter top and anything else that's on it. So getting it off the counter top and right above the outlet was a perfect idea. As you can see by looking at the photo I took the cord and wrapped it up then tied it under the shelf. I would recommend this.

Clever Add-On Shelf!
When I first saw these outlet add-ons I was impressed with how clever they were. My husband always left his electric shaver charging on the edge of the small vanity in his bathroom and it would spin around on the granite top - threatening to fall off the edge. It was a nuisance to find a place to put it when wiping the vanity top each day. This little shelf was very easy to add to the outlet beside the sink and solves that problem beautifully! I also added one to the outlet by the coffee maker in the kitchen. I can easily charge my phone there or use the little shelf for storage. I think these are great!

Coolest Invention
LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. It's one of those "Why didn't I think of this" items that once we own, we can't live without. Two perches come in a box, and to install you simply unscrew a faceplate for one of your wall outlets, position the perch behind the faceplate, and then reinstall the screw. The faceplate still fits securely, no wiggling.
The perch is fantastic for holding a phone, electric toothbrush or other electronic device. It can also be used to hold items you just want off the counter. I used mine to get the salt & pepper shaker off my very small counter and they fit perfectly on the perch. The perch looks like it was made for them!
Would highly recommend this product and I will, in fact, be ordering more in the near future.

Tiny shelf
The power perch is a simple idea that works great for what I needed. You just take off the face plate to the outlet and reinstall it in front of the power perch using the face plate to hold it all in place. It's simple and works well for what it is. I'm using these in the bathroom to get things I need to charge off the countertop and keep them away from any water spilt.
