Looks great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Outdoor Rainforest Waterfall Tree Trunk Fountain is pretty cool. It’s a large fountain with LED lights so it looks very nice at night time. It comes with minimal assembly required and we were able to set it up in ten minutes. After filling it with water, all you have to do is plug it in and select your fountain speed. I’ve kept mine on the lowest setting otherwise the sound of the water gets loud. The construction and finish of the tree trunk is good quality and looks life like. The two layer waterfall adds a very cool and soothing feel to an indoor or outdoor space. There is very minimal splashing from the fountain which is good. I wish there was an on/off button so I didn’t have to plug/unplug the fountain. Also it would be good to be able to adjust the water flow speed without having to reach inside where the motor is located. Other than that it looks and works great.

Flood!
New out of the box, this fountain was fine, momentarily. After several days, it started to leak in multiple places. On emptying and inspecting, I found the base to be riddled with small cracks, and the plaster separating at key areas at the base. Additionally, even though it’s never been in direct sunlight, the color finish turned to a depressing gray within months, and the filter foam became brittle and failed to properly disperse the water causing a lot of splash
Instead of returning, (huge hassle) I re-painted it, and had bought a giant barrel liner.... I cut to fit and placed the fountain into the liner with rocks and pond lights and it’s satisfactory now since it can all leak right back into itself. At least they gave me enough hose in the back to sink the pump into the base liner.
The price for the fountain doesn’t include the cost of your time and materials to force it to work the way it should, so make sure to be prepared for the extra expense.

This was the perfect addition to our flower garden! It's tall enough to provide some vertical appeal and yet small enough to fit into a tinier area. Love the lights in it too for a little extra glow in the evening.

This is no cheaply made fountain, the sturdiness of it very surprising as you can tell when lifting and placing it plus when you examine the sliding rear cover and will note the thickness of the material. We appreciate the large 3+ gallon water reservoir as we live in the hot dry Denver area and do not have to fill it everyday. It has run for four days without filling. The water pump comes with a built in flow regulator and after experimenting we chose the minimum setting as that seems to produce the nicest waterfall noise. Love sitting out in the morning for breakfast with the sound of the water as background.

It took me a week to decide on a fountain. I am SO glad I picked this one, it is absolutely perfect. It looks like a real tree! The craftmanship and materials used are excellent and it' lighter than you would expect. It holds 6 or 7 gallons and doesn't splash so you don't have to refill it very often. I started it on it's lowest setting and haven't moved it. It sounds like a waterfall in a brook. I love that the falling water is like a sheet. It's nice to be able to look through it and then it bubbles at the base. I was worried the lights would be too blue with our warmer outdoor lights, but I love it. It gives it a clean look and matches the feel. Last night a frog jumped in the bottom basin while we all watched. He must have thought it looked real too. I put plants all around it to give a more authentic look (I'm going to add more).

Really nice fountain, the look of the log is surprisingly well done. The lights although only having one color option actually gives the falls and pools of water a nice softness. The pump is a little loud and the placement of the mesh used to control the flow of water at the pools I think could have been done better. The only option for off and on is the plug but I get that. My family really enjoys having this on our deck!

Absolutely beautiful addition to our yard. Very easy set up and lightning fast shipping. Do not hesitate to purchase for a stunning addition for your home. Only tip is make sure it is level before filling, my husband used some heavy brick pavers (that resemble rock) also from home depot that compliment the fountain.
