Excellent Hands Free Disposal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this waste basket for my bathroom and I have been using it for just over a week. The main reason that I chose a step-on receptacle is because I have an 18 month old who loves to get into the trash. This waste basket has fixed this problem for me and as an added bonus it trash disposal hands free. It has a slim profile which allows it to fit perfectly between my toilet and vanity. It is a tall trash can and holds a large amount. I have been using it on a regular basis for a little over a week now and there is still plenty of room. I am currently using my 13 gallon kitchen trash bags in this waste basket and they work well. The color is a nice gray color and it matches my bathroom décor nicely. One of the best features of this product is the lid. It is tight sealing to prevent bad odors from sanitary products. There is even a basket on top to place fresheners. This is a must have for toddler diapers! My only issue with this product is that it doesn't work well for large items. It is designed for sanitary products and larger items don’t always drop into the bin without assistance. It can take several steps on the pedal to force larger items down. I highly recommend this for anyone who is hygiene conscience and has children and/or pets that like to explore the trash.

Very Functional but Kinda Cheap Looking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who wants to open a trash can for their feminine products and see other women's used tampons or pads?! This was perfect for the office to hide what's in there, and even better that you don't have to touch the thing since you can use the presser-foot. The mechanism seems to work well, but it doesn't really add any zest to your office bathroom since the plastic is rather ugly and cheap-looking. But functionally speaking, this is a great product.

Great space-saving design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this product is probably designed for public restrooms, offices etc, I find that it can make a great wastebasket in any house. Its design makes it fit in a lot of narrow spaces, so it is perfect for small bathrooms. While it may be narrow it is very tall; probably double the size of waste bins found in most restrooms. Not that you would let it fill up for weeks, but it's good to know that it does a great job trapping odors. But if you prefer, you can spray a little bit of fragrant spray under the lid.
It is very sturdy, yet lightweight, and lid won't come off when trying to pick up the bin. The step-on function works smoothly. I use standard trash bags to make it easier to clean and disinfect the inside of the lid regularly.

Love this

If there is one thing that I hate the most living with my daughter and wife is when they are trying to do the right thing and dispose of their sanitary napkins and it opens up in the waste basket. Puke. So this is perfect. It has a step feature and you can place the waste in the trash can. The best part, I dont have to look at it.

Clean and healthy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Alpine industries Grey colored step-on Waste Basket Sanitary Napkin Receptacle is perfect for small space between my tub and toilet. I really like how you put the garbage in the lid. It has a compartment that dumps into the basket. The lid is very tight So it seals in any odors and I feel this is much healthier for my family. You should tryit for yourself. I Definetly recommend it and plan to let more family and friends know how great it is!

Perfect fit

Steamlined Waste Solution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect size to fit in a slim spot like next to a toilet. It's study and sanitary to use and it stops odors well. There is even a space to add additional air fresher if needed. It holds a lot of waste and could easily be used for purposes other than sanitary napkins. Easy to clean up, as well.

High quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This waste basket is high quality and very sanitary. I would recommend it for any place that gets a decent amount of bathroom traffic. It’s large enough to not need to be changed excessively, but not too large to fit in a stall. Nice that there is a compartment for a freshener as well.
