There is no way to know as the availability of the many dozens of varieties possible changes all the time. We use whatever are currently the best varieties available at the time of filling the order.
You will need to purchase soil for your kit, a small bag of prepared cactus and succulent mix. This is usually available at all major retailers. Not necessary, but consider purchasing a decorative top dressing for your garden as well!
Best exposure would be 6-8 hours of sunlight, and considering your location, morning hours would be best. After the plants acclimate and become more established, they will be able to withstand more sun all day long. Water them thoroughly when you do, and don't water again until the soil has dried out about half way down into the pot - then water thoroughly again.

Yes direct sunlight good. Water when they get dry, every 3 days or so to once a week .
