Not exactly thrilled
I just took delivery of this freezer and I have misgivings. It was not my 1st choice (or 2nd, or 3rd); I bought it because it was available. Biggest concern: the electric cord is only 18 awg. Can't recommend yet.

Good freezer so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple months ago, so far it seem to be like a really nice freezer. I would have given it 5 stars, but I don't like it doesn't have a light inside when you open it up. Big flaw in my eyes, especially if stored in a basement with low lighting. I was very surprised it didn't have one.

Loud - Worried about long term
It works but it makes this horrible noise when the compressor is on. That makes me thing it won't last long. We've had 2 other frezzers this size in our house and none of them have made this noise. You can hear it from three rooms away. Other than that we;ve had it plugged in for a little over a month and the food is cold.
