The door was listed as being 77 7/8" high, but mine was actually 78 1/8" high. It was too big to fit into the track, even with all wheels compressed. If the correct dimensions were listed it would have been fine.

ok for the price
It was a super snug fit, which is both good and bad. It would have been great to have instructions with the door, especially since the ones on the website are for the sliding door, and the one page for the screen does not accurately reflect how to adjust the wheels. My biggest greivance is with the wheels. They are so flimsy. Trying to push them up to get on the track was a nightmare. The wheels would bend such that i couldnt get them on the track. The lock/catch works fine and i eventually got the wheels properly on the track using a fork and knife combo. Installed on a MasterPiece 72” door - sku # 954964

original product for door but flimsy moving back and forth. Had the screen before and second time replacing it. This time I did buy a screen fram piece cut and mounted across middle of door to prevent people from walking into it. I think it might last much longer now.

This is an exact fit replacement for the Amer. Craf. slider I installed in 2002. It's actually better than the original because the rollers don't' need any adjustments. You just insert the top in the slot and lift the bottom rollers onto the track and you are done. I rated the quality as good due to the original manufacturers design with thin flimsy aluminum rails. This frame is as good as it gets given the material.

These doors are made for a specific height and are not adjustable. To figure out what height you need you need to measure the height and width of your existing broken screen door. If you have no old door you will have to measure from the patio door. There are two common types of tracks for screen doors, one of them has a track at the top and track at the bottom. Measure from the bottom of the top track to the top of the bottom track, then add 1/4 inch. Thats the height of the screen door The second type has a channel shaped track at the top and a rail at the bottom. Measure from very the top of the channel to the top of the bottom track and ADD 1/4 inch. That is the height of the screen door. The width of the screen door is always the same as the width of the moving glass door. With this information you should be able to pick the right size of screen door

This is actually a decent screen door, a little flimsy, as others have said but definitely usable. I was in need of a new door as my old door had seen its better days! It has seen lots of traffic from dogs to grand kids and held up quite well considering the use over the past 15 years. With some minor adjusting the new door went in rather easily and I also screwed on a protective metal grate to keep little hands and puppy claws from raking and pushing in the screen at the bottom. Adding the grate also makes the screen a little more solid. All in all it is a decent door that costs considerably less than others that were available at the local home improvement stores in my area.
