Can these windows be painted on the exterior side, and if yes, what type of paint is recommended?
Asked by Lisa July 24, 2020We do not recommend painting American Craftsman vinyl products as doing so would void the limited lifetime warranty.
Can 2 of these windows be mulled together to make 1 large window? I don't see a mull kit for it....

How I get to the directions for installation?
Asked by Jim December 30, 2017Installation is pretty straightforward put window in the rough opening , level and square and screw or nail it in then trim it. Don’t forget to caulk first

Does this window meet egress requirements?
Asked by Dee November 19, 2015Thank you for your inquiry. A window must meet all of the minimum requirements for a clear opening of 20 x 24 and 5.7 square feet in order to meet egress. This window has a clear opening of 19.75 x 42.5 and 5.83 square feet, so unfortunately it does not meet egress.
Can I get a 60" wide by 48" slider in the type windows? If so, how much would it cost?

what is the warrenty on the 50 series american craftsman vinyl window, and how long should the vinyl slide last
Asked by dago April 18, 2015The American Craftsman Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects for ten years from the date of purchase from the dealer. This does include the vinyl.
