    Does the 60x48 window exceed the glass size that would require a tempered pane in Illinois?

    Can you take the screen out of this window? If so, how is it done? It does not appear that it can be removed.

    Thank you for your inquiry concerning the 70 Series Slider Dual Vent Fin windows. The easiest way to remove the screen is to first remove the operable sash from the frame. Then, rotate the clips of the screen from a horizontal to a vertical position. Using the screen tabs, pull inward to free the screen from the frame.     Can this be purchased with grilles?
