AnswersThe doors with the blinds are only available in the 5' door 50x68 and 6' door 60x68 and only sold through Home Depot. Some stores stock them and some do not. If they do not have them in stock, they can be special ordered.

AnswersHello, I had to lift up on the door (with help) and adjust the screw on the bottom of the door. Other than that it may not be square in the opening causing it to bind. I installed 2 of these doors in my home and both of them needed minor adjustment to the small guide wheels.

Hard to latch, broken roller

Purchased this 50 series right hand sliding patio door 33 days ago. It is very hard to latch from day one. Today, I opened the door and the door fell to the right and is riding on the track, obviously making it hard to open or close and there is a 1/4" gap at the top. I grabbed my screwdriver but the roller will not adjust. It failed and is broken. Went to home Depot to buy a new roller. They don't sell them, for the doors they sell. I called American Craftsman and they are sending me new rollers. Customer service was great however they only warranty parts not labor. I'm a contractor and install doors so not a big deal. However, anyone who pays for the door to be installed, will have to pay someone to tear both panels out to repair this. I now have to remove both panels to fix a 30 day old door. Ridiculous!!! I talked to customer service about the latching problem. She said sometimes the stationary panel is installed to deep in the pocket. To remedy this, I have to remove the threshold cover, in screw the stationary panel stops, and move it out of the pocket so the slider can close more to latch properly. What a joke, no quality control?? The home owner has to do this? Do Not Buy This Door!

We just had our sliding glass doors installed and I am in love with them. The built in blinds are amazing. I don’t have to worry about the cat or the dogs messing them up and an added bonus I don’t have to clean the blinds they are encased in the glass! Matt at Home Depot was so helpful. He helped us get exactly what we needed.
This door is absolutely beautiful, very well made and easy to install
