Answer This Question
A:Â Hi Dog Lover, well I have a Ger. Shepherd and he is around it all the time and is ok. It is not made to give your dog a bath in the pest control or feed it to them. To kill a dog like mine would need over 3 pound of garlic to cause any harm. So do not spray you dogs food with the pest control or use it to kill fleas or ticks. But all in all NatureShield is safe for people, pets, and plants and is EPA exempt.

This product does what it claims. I used it around my home and I could see the results! Bugs don't like this repellant. Excellent barrier for area you need to protect. I like that it is safe because the ingredients are all natural. I had hundreds of love bugs around my home and after applying this with a sprayer, they moved away from the areas I treated. It has a garlic smell, which is a good trade off for insects.

1 Gal. NatureShield All-Natural Pest Control. According to the Instructions I mixed one gallon of all natural pest control to 8 gallons of water for a coverage of 500 sq.ft I used a pump sprayer instead , it's been one week and I have not seen or felt any bugs so far. It has a strong garlic smell to it, that's why the bugs stay away, unfortunately with all this rain in the last couple of days means I'll have to spay again. It works and I feel that anyone with a garden would be happy with this all natural product .

American Hydro Systems 1 gallon NatureShield all-natural pest control. NatureShield is the only pest control product on the market that integrates a proprietary blend of essential plant oils to create an all-natural pest barrier around an entire landscape. Some of the natural active ingredients are Garlic Oil, Cinnamon Oil, and Castor Oil. Controls pests like ants, carpenter ants, centipedes, fire ants, fleas, flies, fruit flies, house spiders, houseflies, household ants, mosquitos, silverfish, spiders, ticks, and other crawling and flying insects. Can be applied automatically through sprinklers with a ProFeeder or applied as needed with tank or boom sprayers or hose end sprayers. This is a great option for us with the grandchildren in the yard. I will use around our deck seating area. Applications can last for up to 5 days. For outdoor use, there will be a potent garlic smell, if used indoors or in a garage.

In general I have found that "natural" pest controls work well but don't last quite as long as typical insecticides. But, when you have pets and kids around, there's really no contest - products like Nature Shield are the only choice. Your yard may smell like an Italian restaurant, but the bugs will stay away.
That one gallon jug of Nature Shield will make about 30 gallons, and for a typical yard that should last pretty much all spring and summer. You can use anything from a small spray bottle to a pump sprayer to a commercial tank sprayer for application. I normally use a 1 or 2 gallon garden sprayer, but I also keep a little spray bottle handy for use on specific problem areas in the garden or target wasp nests.
As for how long you can go between applications, that seems to depend on how often and how hard it rains and how often your sprinklers run. I just use it whenever the bugs come back, and I don't have to worry about the dogs eating grass, tomatoes or whatever else they think is edible out there.

This product is the best organic mosquito control you can imagine. We disperse thru an irrigation system and cover about 1/2 acre, and a gallon lasts about a month, depending on schedule, time of year, and rain (when we turn the system off). Yes, it smells of garlic, but no mosquitoes.

This concentrated all natural pest control product claims to cover a wide variety of insects, ants and spiders. Since we have pets and are active in the yard we appreciate the less poisonous nature of the product. The first application appears to have worked. I usually have my place professionally sprayed at least 3 times, once in Spring, once in Summer, and once in Fall. I am hoping to eliminate this cost by utilizing this gallon across those applications. If it works as advertised that should do it.

This is a nice natural pest control made with natural oils. It is safe for kids and pets, but it does have a strong scent to it. We have alot of fireants this time of year, and with the rains coming in have issues with ants on the counter tops. This works well indoors, but out side need to spray more frequently due to rain. All in all it is a good product for indoors, apart from the strong scent. Sprayed inside garage and window areas and behind and underneath counters. Sprayed outdoors and worked well, but seems to weaken with rain.

I applied this product to my side yard to help control fleas. I used a hose end sprayer which made the application process easy. The spray has a 'garlic oder' rather than the harsh smell of most insectides. Thus far, it seems to have helped with the flea problem we have had. Not yet sure how it controls other insects since the product is labled as a repellant rather than insect killer. I have noticed some insects climbling on the side of the exterior walls of my house. It has only been 3 days since I applied the product. Guess I need to give it a bit more time to work its magic.
